  1. Since Blaine's our DM now, I thought he deserved a sticky thread like Sark's, in case he drops in.

And in case you were wondering, this thread is brought to you by Brown Julius.

  2. Since this is our last shot, off the top of my head:

    1. What was the necromancer doing with the men, exactly?

    2. What was the deal with 12-pack, the water village "elder"? And did he live?

    3. What could Jayphe have done for the party?

    4. Could they have saved Glinishmore?

    5. How peaty is Glinishmore whisky?

    6. Did podcasting change the flow of the game or your DM style at all?

    7. What are your thoughts on coming out to the coast?

  3. Senior Sark,

Do you still have your earliest D&D items, like old Basic box sets and campaigns, the original Monster's Manual and the like?

Just curious on how far back you roll (literally)...

I remember Sark saying he had to frequently relinquish all of his worldly possessions (including role-playing books) due to frequent family moves– that was why finding his own old Top Secret S.I. books on ebay was such a big deal for him (and so creepy to Brian.)

  4. I've been hoping for other comedian cameos as well. Paul F. Tompkins as a city guard that sounds a lot like Iced-T, please. Or James Adomian as a wizard that sounds like Huell Howser.

Then again the room they're in looks hella crowded as it is.

Steve Agee and Kumail Nanjiani have both been hilarious on the Harmontown D&D (without totally derailing it the way some of the other comedy guests do.)

  5.

Honestly, I try to avoid doing anything to an NPC pet that might possibly get them killed.

And it's in the interest of the game master to be careful when they try to use this powerful creature to attack, because they might then try to do it all the time. In this case it could turn into, "Let's sit back and let Stargoyle kill all the enemies".

It wouldn't surprise me if Sark has killed a good number of NPC pets over the years considering how gleefully he wipes out player characters.

  6. Am I tripping? New eps are up on Wednesday right? Pleeeeeeeeeeeeaaaase tell me I don’t have to go through work today without a new episode of NP w BP & F!

    Agreed, I'm getting withdrawals

Where is the new episode you fucks!?

We need the new episode - not for ourselves.. for Glinishmore!

    Nothing until 7/31-- https://twitter.com/earwolf/status/359460299507634176

  7. Rats, just read Brian's tweet. No Episode 35 until 7/31. Blaine will have a LOT of dead air to sponsor.

Hehe.....would Sark do that? :-) Or maybe Brain....I mean Amarth push them to it? :-)

    Yes, definitely, to both.

  8. Sark, I was floored when I realized the entire Water Elemental Plane scenario was just a sidequest. I know you mentioned some (tantalizing) examples of missed sidequests/alternative paths earlier in the thread. I was wondering, in general, how much of that kind of branching do you bake into these campaigns when you write them?

I ask now mainly because the current adventure (hunting for meat to feed fartivorous meatsharks so they can ID the skeleton facehugger ladydrainer things) seems like one of the least likely branches they could've gotten to.

On an unrelated note, I can't watch Game of Thrones without thinking of Giantard and Firetits now. So thank you for the entertainment you provide, and also for completely ruining Game of Thrones.
