Episode 146 - Gabe Delahaye, Our Close Friend
Joe Lerini replied to agata's topic in Hollywood Handbook
Oh man, when Sean says about a recording artist "(S)He's a talent!" it really makes me think that person is NOT a talent. SO GOOD. One of the reasons I'm a Clementine (I'm gonna keep saying this at least until it's mentioned on the HH podcast). (PS Hayes cool too. I just haven't thought of a cool nickname for the fandom yet. A Davenportmanteau, if you will.) -
Episode 142 - The Phantom: LIVE! (w/ Eliza Skinner, Ed Brubaker)
Joe Lerini replied to JulyDiaz's topic in How Did This Get Made?
I have a VHS tape with a couple eps of this series. Similar style to the Aeon Flux cartoons (the creator of AF worked on Phantom 2040). I thought those 2 episodes were pretty cool, but I wish the whole series would get a DVD release. There was also a 2009 miniseries about The Phantom that aired on Syfy Channel. I thought that was cool, too. -
Episode 142 - The Phantom: LIVE! (w/ Eliza Skinner, Ed Brubaker)
Joe Lerini replied to JulyDiaz's topic in How Did This Get Made?
There was a mid-80s cartoon series, Defenders of the Earth, that featured The Phantom, Flash Gordon, and Mandrake the Magician in the far-off year of 2015. On this series, The Phantom had a daughter, Jedda Walker, who in one episode at least becomes the Phantom when she believes her father has died. -

I haven't listened to this HDTGM ep yet, but I watched and loved The Phantom. -

HEY SEAN! Here's a special message from your #1 Clementine! (Sorry, couldn't find a "Sean" one. ) -
Episode 251 - Mattman vs. SupArmen
Joe Lerini replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
I am always down for an Armen-sode. The fact that it's based on versions of comic book characters from a divisive movie (which I enjoyed) is an added bonus. -

Joe Lerini replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Hollywood Handbook
"Howard, give me one good reason I shouldn't feed you to ANDREW TI right now!" Guys, I know this is controversial, but I'm gonna come right out and say it: I like Sean. He's great. I'm a real Clementine. That works as a fan nickname, right? PS Hayes good, too! -

I enjoyed Fraction's brief FF run. She-Hulk and Medusa are faves and Darla Deering was an interesting character. And Scott Lang's Ant-Man had some touching sad moments. (And is it weird that I read all of FF but not the Fantastic Four title to which it was a companion piece?) -

Certainly better than the WWE draft they did on Smackdown live earlier tonight. That show was dire! Also, Patrick Walsh sounds a lot like Tom Scharpling. And I've never seen the two of them in the same place at the same time. *looks around suspiciously*
