This episode really got me thinking about my childhood and how my parents raised me. I used to LOVE this movie as a kid, so much so that I'm pretty sure I wore out my VHS copy of it. This was a movie my whole family watched, almost every Christmas. I would even try to recreate the windmill techinque for snowball fights, ultimately realizing that I did not have the dexterity of a sentient snow dad. I used to live by a Warner Brothers store (not even sure if they exist anymore) and managed to snag an awesome, or what I thought was awesome at the time, bean bag stuffed toy of Jack Frost, and I loved the thing like it was my best friend. Now after watching this my eyes are open. I HAD A FUCKING BEANIE BABY OF SOMEBODY'S DEAD DAD. Re-watching this movie after years of not watching it gave me the creeps and I genuinely feel uncomfortable with my previous infatuation with the film.

If I had a dollar for every time that I had a dollar, well, then I'd be great at redundant expressions.

I noticed the exact same thing and could not stop cracking up -
As ridiculous and dumb the idea of bombing a tornado, or Sharknado in this instance, seems its actually been something scientists have been trying to do for awhile now. The only problem is that any bomb strong enough, such as a nuke, would stop the tornado by heating the cold air but the nuclear fallout would destroy more than the tornado. Instead scientists are now trying to use satellites that can harness the sun's rays and convert them to a microwave laser to heat up the cold air in a tornado. Hopefully in a few decades, we will actually have the technology to fight a potential Sharknado.
