    Superman Returns (2006)

Kate Bosworth was dreadfully miscast as Lois, considering she was supposed to play a veteran news reporter, but yet was only 23 at the time and looks like it, not to mention it looked like she was wearing a bad wig throughout.

    Transcendence (2014)

Cinematographer Wally Pfister's directorial debut was visually striking as always, and the story had potential, but the execution was frightfully poor, and marked another low point in Johnny Depp's career.

    Timeline (2003)

Is anybody familiar with the movie Timeline (2003), which was based on the novel by Michael Crichton and was directed by Richard Donner? Not only was this a critical (12% on Rotten Tomatoes) and a box office disaster ($43 million worldwide on a budget of $80 million), it was also the last book of Crichton's that was made to the big screen before his death in 2008. It also has a surprisingly large cast from the likes of Paul Walker, Gerard Butler, Frances O'Connor, Billy Connolly, David Thewlis, Ethan Embry, Anna Friel and Michael Sheen! It's amazing that Butler's career managed to survive before he made 300 a few years later and not even some decent actors can save this from becoming a cheesefest. Here's the trailer if you want to view it.

    The Blue Lagoon (1980)

14-year-old Brooke Shields and 18-year-old Christopher Atkins play kids who become stranded on a tropical island with their older shipmate, the shipmate dies, the kids grow up and become hormone-crazed teens where they declare their love for each other. Most notable for the amount of body doubles used for the nude scenes considering that Shields was underage at the time. Though critically panned, it was a box office hit and later spawned an even worse sequel in 1991 called "Return to the Blue Lagoon" starring a 15-year-old Milla Jovovich and Brian Krause from "Sleepwalkers" fame.

    Double Jeopardy (1999)

This is actually one of the better thrillers that Ashley Judd made during that period (along with Kiss the Girls) and she did fine considering what she was given.

    Dr. T & the Women (2000)

Definitely, because other films that have gotten that failing grade from moviegoers include: Eye of the Beholder, Lost Souls, Lucky Numbers, Fear Dot Com, Solaris, In the Cut, Darkness, Alone in the Dark, Wolf Creek, The Wicker Man, Bug, I Know Who Killed Me, Disaster Movie, The Box, The Devil Inside, Silent House and Killing Them Softly.

    The Circle (2017)

The second adaptation of a Dave Eggers novel starring Tom Hanks to fail pretty badly, the first was last year's "A Hologram for the King". Also the last major roles for Bill Paxton and Glenne Headly, the former of whom died before its release and the latter passed soon after.

    Red Planet (2000)

The film that marked the end of Val Kilmer and Tom Sizemore's mainstream careers, not to mention it was one of the first movies Carrie-Anne Moss followed up "The Matrix" with. It flopped so badly, that it's director (Antony Hoffman) made his debut with it but never worked in Hollywood again.

    King Ralph (1991)

I don't understand what on earth brought Peter O'Toole and John Hurt into this catastrophe. And from I recall, Joely Richardson's character was dubbed by speaking in a manly voice.
