Not even Angie Everhart as the hot vampire queen could rescue this from total mediocrity, and it completely killed Tales from the Crypt movie installments after only two entries!- 3 replies

The Best of Me (2014)

This film even has the lowest Rotten Tomatoes score of all the Nicholas Sparks adaptations with an 8%. The highest is The Notebook and that score is only a 52%! -
Never Talk to Strangers (1995)
SlidePocket replied to Ofcoursemyhorse's topic in Bad Movie Recommendations
This film was also probably the last mainstream flick Rebecca De Mornay ever did that anyone paid to see, not to mention that it was also one of many between 1994 and 1997 that tried to make Dennis Miller into a movie star to varying degrees (the others were Disclosure, The Net, Bordello of Blood and Murder at 1600). -
This and "High Spirits" served as one of the worst Neil Jordan directed.

A Quentin Tarantino ripoff that happens to star Quentin Tarantino! A weird crime comedy where Dylan McDermott, James Belushi, Nancy Travis and James LeGros are connected to Tarantino who plays a strange supernatural being where their fates would ultimately be combined. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rog0A9R04L4

This is the first film where Jason Patric and Jami Gertz ever worked together. The next year after Solarbabies came out, the two would later reunite for none other than The Lost Boys! I had to imagine Joel Schumacher saw that film and was like, "Yep, these two are so good together in Solarbabies, let's cast them for my next project!"

Episode up now!

Under the Cherry Moon (1986)

Bumping this up in honor of Prince's passing. -
After the two "Home Alone" films, Macaulay Culkin attempts to branch out by going evil by terrorizing his cousin Elijah Wood as the latter comes to stay with Culkin and his family after Wood's father had to go on a business trip and had recently lost his mother. This attempt didn't quite work out as "The Good Son" marked the beginning of the end of Culkin's career as a child star and his next three films from 1994 (Richie Rich, Getting Even with Dad, The Pagemaster) all flopped, prompting him to drop out of the limelight. Any thoughts about this 1993 gem?

Episode 134 - Can't Stop the Music: LIVE!
SlidePocket replied to JulyDiaz's topic in How Did This Get Made?
There is over 400 replies dedicated to one episode, most specifically due to one controversial discussion on a certain guest! This has gotta be a record, it even beats out the 300 replies the LOL thread got under Bad Movie Recommendations. -
The film is also notable for when Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio met and fell in love with its director Pat O'Connor, and they have been together ever since.

The poster, home video covers and marketing tries to make it feel like Heather Graham was the main character, but in the actual film she barely had anything to do throughout when in reality Chris Klein (hot off of American Pie) was the protagonist. It would also mark the downfall for Klein as he would later bring us Rollerball and Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li among others that prompt his career decline.

Also notable for being a poor remake of "Wings of Desire" by Wim Wenders.

Episode 134 - Can't Stop the Music: LIVE!
SlidePocket replied to JulyDiaz's topic in How Did This Get Made?
Can't Stop the Music was not Steve Guttenberg's film debut as well. His first role was a 1977 teen comedy called The Chicken Chronicles, while his followup was a small role in 1978's The Boys from Brazil before Can't Stop the Music became his first starring role.
