How has this not brought up enough? Everyone has admitted that they regretted doing this one and this pretty much wrecked Frank Oz's directing career as a whole.

I looked at the IMDb trivia section for this and apparently, Michael Crichton was so disappointed in Timeline, that he would not allow any further adaptations of his novels before his death. Looks like he wasn't the only one bummed out by it!

Bringing this one back up because of the new version out now. The latter one is being more despised than the 2005 version with lower ratings!

Perhaps better known as the film where Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger met and fell in love. That was at least something good that came out of this dreck. Strangely enough, the movie was written by Neil Simon and the director's only credit before that was "The Brave Little Toaster". There was also reports of the two leads taking control of the production and ended up with the mess it was known as. Anyone heard of this one from 1991?

William Friedkin admitted that he almost rewrote Joe Eszterhas' script with the latter almost trying to take his name off the project, but has gone on to say that Jade was his most favorite film that he has ever made! Incidentally, this film came out just 3 weeks after Showgirls, and when you combine the total production budgets for both movies ($95 million) and total North American grosses ($30 million), that will completely end the screenwriter's career (with Burn Hollywood Burn finishing the deed 3 years later).

The Mirror Has Two Faces

Lauren Bacall was an Oscar nominee for Best Supporting Actress for her role in this flick just in case you guys remember. -
Eric Roberts also got an Oscar nod for Best Supporting Actor as well.

Jesse Bradford was originally going to play the evil kid, but once Kit Culkin came in the picture, he demanded the producers to get Macaulay as the child sociopath or he would pull him from Home Alone 2. Kit's plan worked, Bradford was replaced and Macaulay's sister Quinn was also cast to play his sister as well.

This film was originally meant for Madonna and Sean Penn to play the leads, but after Shanghai Surprise bombed, they dropped out before Willis and Basinger were eventually brought in. While Blind Date did okay at the box office for Willis and Blake Edwards, their followup together the next year, Sunset, was a dud.

This flick tried so hard to make Kelsey Grammer a movie star at the height of Frasier's success, but it just didn't work out and was the last movie directed by David S. Ward of Major League fame.

It's gonna be one of the new live shows everyone!

John McTiernan's original version didn't sit well with test audiences, so it went through reshoots when Michael Crichton took over direction, which caused the film to be delayed for over a year, and ended up being one of the biggest flops in box office history.

This is the new episode they're covering! -
New update! 2 appearances: Cynthia Rhodes - Staying Alive, Runaway

When is the new episode coming up!

This is one embarrassing film on Halle Berry's resume before Catwoman, plus one of the movies Martin Landau made after winning the Oscar for Ed Wood!
-
This was the Grease reunion that nobody asked for. John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John reunite in this abysmal rom-com involving fate, God and fallen angels who look after our two leads. By the time of its release, Travolta just put out Staying Alive earlier that year and Newton-John's last film was Xanadu so when these two came back together, the critics and audiences soundly rejected them. So please give out your thoughts about Two of a Kind!
-
And guess who voices God? None other than Gene Hackman, who chose to go uncredited because even he knew that Two of a Kind was going to be a stinker.

This is one of these things Jim Carrey wishes never exists, as the film is presently on the IMDb Bottom 100.

The Nostalgia Critic has just covered this movie the same week HDTGM will be on Friday!

There's also young Heather Graham, pre-Last Seduction Linda Fiorentino, Gwyneth Paltrow's first ever movie role and the actual main actor Jamie Walters (aka the "How Do You Talk to an Angel? guy).

TMNT 2 and Hercules in New York were both recorded live on the same day by the way.
