This and "Gigli" the year before was when Ben Affleck hit rock bottom. Not even James Gandolfini, Christina Applegate and Catherine O'Hara can quite resucitate it.

Now gonna be next week's show!

Halle Berry plays an investigate reporter who tries to dig up proof that a tycoon played by Bruce Willis murdered her best friend after she blurts out that the two had an affair. You thought the whole thing would be solved after Willis gets arrested for the crime right? You're wrong! It turns out that Berry was the one who murdered her friend, and that her assistant played by Giovanni Ribisi knows about it! So Berry kills Ribisi in the end and hopes that no one would see her doing the crime, but unluckily for her, her neighbor witnesses the whole thing, making this one of the dumbest plot twists/endings you will ever see!

And winner Anthony Hopkins for The Silence of the Lambs!
-
The third and final chapter in this trilogy with John Travolta, Kirstie Alley and Olympia Dukakis reprising their roles, Danny DeVito and Diane Keaton voicing the dogs, and George Segal returning for a brief cameo as Mikey's real baby daddy, is now being done on the show next week!

Not since Something's Gotta Give, and that was 15 years ago!

Musical Mondays Week 51 The Rose
SlidePocket replied to Cameron H.'s topic in How Did This Get Made?
After this movie, Bette Midler and director Mark Rydell would go on to reteam for another music-themed film, "For the Boys" from 1991 where she and James Caan play USO entertainers. If anyone's familiar with that, that could be a future candidate. -

Now my second pick for this theme isn't strictly a musical per se, but it does have elements like a few that have been picked before, so today I'm giving you: -

Episode 200 - Action Jackson: LIVE!
SlidePocket replied to JulyDiaz's topic in How Did This Get Made?
Sandra Bullock and Jennifer Lopez disagree because they have four movies each covered. -
Directed by William Friedkin and written by Ron Shelton, this could've been a success but just didn't quite gel.
-
Episode 199 - A Night In Heaven: LIVE!
SlidePocket replied to JulyDiaz's topic in How Did This Get Made?
I assumed he drowned after Whitney shoots the boat. -
It's not that bad, it's a relatable drama between Burt Lancaster, his kids (Suzy Amis, Patricia Clarkson, Frances Conroy, John Glover), their spouses (Bill Pullman, Kevin Spacey, Sinead Cusack) and his grandchildren (one of them being Macaulay Culkin in his film debut) so I don't see it being picked.

Bump because since "Perfect Stranger" is being done live next month, we need some more crazily insane Halle Berry thrillers like this.
