I discovered the videos of vegan activist John Sakars when Improv4Humans featured one of his videos, but I wish Jake would talk about one of his skits or musical numbers. When I was 8, my family went to the movies. My parents went to one movie (probably The Bridges of Madison County or something), and my 17-year-old sister was in charge of taking me to a more appropriate one. I could swear we went to Grumpy Old Men, but that movie came out in 1993, so I don't know. I do know that my sister got bored and snuck me into Congo which she wanted to see instead and it BLEW MY MIND. I remember the eyeball rolling on the ground and being like, "coooooooollll....eeeeewwwww." I don't have Netflix and I don't feel like paying to rent this on Amazon, so I will probably rely on my nearly 20-year-old memory to enjoy this one.

Jamie Foxx was in Toys as well! I remember really wanting to see this movie when I was a kid, because of the poster, but I'm not sure if I ever did. I watched it today and can appreciate some of the beautiful framing and really impressive sets and props, etc. Beyond that, it was a miserably long and uninteresting story with koo-koo performances. Robin Williams' and Robin Wright's flirting...yuck.

FYI this is on Amazon Prime in case there are any other weirdos like me who have Amazon Prime but don't have Netflix.

Well yeah, this. Anyway, did anyone else think the movie Avatar veered towards bestiality?

Yeah I got my tickets ages ago and I'd love to know which movie to watch in enough time to watch it this weekend!
