Alright, so, elephant in the room. Paul Rust was very funny this week but I think most of us Handbookers will want to discuss how past guest Adam Pally's character on The Mimby Project was killed off in the final act. Apparently he was using his lady doctor talents to steal and sell leftover lady parts? They didn't say specifically which ones, and admittedly I'm not really up-to-date on which lady parts are which nowadays, but the tone suggested it was really bad. Mimby was able to wrestle the bag of evidence away from him but in the scuffle he fell onto the electrified subway tracks. A good episode with a lot of good story in it. Still, cliffhanger ONCE AGAIN cause we don't know who Mimby is going to date next!

I enjoyed this episode and would really enjoying hearing a show about shows that started out as one thing but then turn into secret soap operas. Or, shows that have always been soap operas but rely on CGI or gimmicks to make it seem less obvious. Basically, just call bullshit on shows like Walking Dead or Lost (the list goes on and on) that just have episodes where characters circle talk about past action, consequences and feelings. And the way they feel about past actions and consequences. There's 2 minutes of action at the start of the episode and 2 minutes of action at the end.

I take more issue with Hayes wearing a Nike shirt with New Balance shoes. My only guess at making any sense of such a fashion nightmare is that he knew he was stepping into the ring with the impeccably dressed PFT, so he wanted to cause some cognitive dissonance. I had to cut ties with that Jimmy Rustles name. Even though I spent a lot of time trying to establish it as a cool brand, the simple fact is that it was never getting said on the show. The even simpler fact is that you just can't polish a turd. Seems like no matter how many pro versions I purchase, they never say my name or ask my questions.

This show still has a long way to go before it reaches Gelmania levels, but one thing I enjoyed was when Adam commented about how pleased Hayes & Sean were with themselves. If I'm remembering right someone on an RSS episode also was left in awe of how much these two enjoy bussin' themselves up despite the presence of a guest.

My weekend was the worst! Last year, when I was Hayes and Sean for Halloween, all I got were blank stares and I got tired of explaining it. Now, this year, I saw about six H&S costumes out there--two of them at the same party!! This is what happens when people Like them on Facebook and give them one-star reviews on iTunes. This shit just blew up too huge now.
