    Dreamcatcher (2003)

His name was Duddits. That way it could it could be construed as "I done it!" at the end. Also "aliens" have been referred to as "greys" for a long time- so "Mr. Grey" is a nice reference of that: http://en.wikipedia....iki/Grey_alien. To answer everything else you said... yeah... it makes no sense.
  2. Con Air is bad the same way Fast 5 is bad.
  3. ON DVD as said. It hits that sweet spot of being entertaining, "bad", and well-made. A lot of bad movies fall into the boring category, or just plain annoying/mediocre. This is the movie that most bad movies consider themselves to be. This is the perfect movie that simply has to be done on HDTGM. Clifford falls under so bad it's bad but remains somewhat watchable.
  4. Have you seen Dreamcatcher? (we need more votes for that)

    Dreamcatcher (2003)

Maybe he can't do it due to becoming friends with Tim Olyphant through the League. This review will have to suffice for now: http://www.avclub.com/articles/my-year-of-flops-case-file-82-dreamcatcher,10321/
  6. It's pretty decent and does have a few "what the fuck" moments, but part 3 is much more insane. Basically this guy's fiances keep dying so he keeps travelling through time to figure out who is killing them. In the end it turns out it was his sister who is in love with him.

    Paranoia (2013)

There is Snowpiercer coming out, which could fall under "bonkers/good" If that confused you, this is the plot: In a future where a failed global-warming experiment kills off most life on the planet, a class system evolves aboard the Snowpiercer, a train that travels around the globe via a perpetual-motion engine.

    Dante's Peak (1997)

I don't remember much of Dante's Peak but one thing I distinctly remember is the boat disinitegrating, and the grandma gets out and (unneccessarily) starts to the pull the boat to shore in the acidic water.
  9. Oh I agree. It's not bad, but even the trailer gives a slight indication this movie is not "normal"
  10. I feel like while some movies are "bad", we don't want to give Paul, Jason and June a torturous movie to get through. It needs to hit that sweet spot of being well made- while being completely insane at the same time. 1. Dreamcatcher. This movie has it all. It starts off as one thing, but every 40 minutes the movie changes genres and becomes a completely different movie. If you've never seen it, read as little as possible and go in completely blind. 2. Southland Tales/The Box - Richard Kelly directed... pick your choice. Both insane. 3. Sudden Death - I would actually kinda want either Con Air or Face/Off but those action movies hold credence of being... pretty good. Sudden Death is not just a perfect Die Hard knock-off, it's also better than the last few Die Hard movies. The plot is just ridiculous, but the actors really give it their all. 4. Rules of Attraction - This movie starts off crazy, and gets more insane from there. Much like Dreamcatcher, it's best to go in blind and just watch the insanity unfold. I may make a new thread dedicated to this movie because I couldn't find one. It's not so much that it's bad- but it's been forgotten and it begs the question "how did this get made?" 5. Dead Heat- While it doesn't live up to it's amazing trailer (one of the best ever), it's still pretty fun in it's own right. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jus4GsEkSIQ While Troll 2 would be at the top of my list it's been mentioned elsewhere on the site they won't do it simply because they don't have much to add. The reason they did Room/Birdemic is because they had people involved with the film. Runner Up: An Uwe Boll movie HAS to be done.

    Dreamcatcher (2003)

This is the perfect movie for this podcast. One of the few movies where when it ended I said, "Well... I can't say it was good- but it was entertaining." I knew the movie was going to be crazy as soon as the "Six months later" title card came up.
