If you've not seen this film, it one of the best combinations of insane bad and insane good I've seen in a while. Yep, it's basically a hyper convoluted Aliens/Jaws hybrid...in a house......with a tiger. Worth every second of your time, if only for Meatloaf's opening monologue

Perhaps this is just an extreme response to a movie I just saw, and a lot of critics seem to have enjoyed it, but so much of this movie is insane. Lots of the acting is super melodramatic, entire subplots are introduced and abandoned, and an inexplicable sing-a-long to live or let die. I don't hate the movie but there is definitely a ton of crazy to make fun of.

The start of this film is actually pretty good but everything that happens around Tom Cruise/Werner Herzog in this film is hilariously over the top. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4VKUXilyPA "I'm a drifter with nothing to lose...I'll drink your blood from a boot" Also, what the fuck was that bathroom fight scene all about, why is there a tribute to the stooges in the middle of a fight during the film?

I caught this for the first time last month and it is 100% a golden choice. Everything in it is absolutely insane, the fight with feethands, the weaponised grass, the "twist", the goodyear blimp. For something that was basically a real movie based on what I heard was good source material, the actual movie is so crazy it could be a B-film.
