Tied for 1st!! My strategy was picking the whiniest, most immature women with father issues in the house to really amp up the crying/hooking up/fighting portion of the points scale. Hoping my male picks will carry me in the actual challenge comps portion of the points system. I find it kinda weird that rookies always suck on these shows-- I figure that if most of them have a baseline level of fitness why the frig do they almost never win any of the comps?

I had time to watch half of the first ep of the Bachelor today WTF I watched for 2 hrs and they weren't even close to getting to the rose ceremony! Maybe I'd be caught up if the first hr wasn't just a live stream of all the washed up old castmembers standing on a small red carpet with a handful of randos from the Midwest trying to take selfies with them! No one cares but still... FRIG

But I guess they had to celebrate Christmas or w/e like a buncha punks. Hope Santa was nice to everyone this year and that you had a nice New Year's Eve/Day. After listening to the ep I dutifully went on hotornot.com to try to vote for S+H (or at least make a bit out of it for all you fun-loving HH heads) but it requires you to log in via Facebook and I'm too chicken to click on the icon in case it'll show up in people's newsfeeds that "Freja joined hotornot.com". Like, I have to be cool at all times, ya know? Can't risk it.

AV-- yeah, thus far the outfit plan is a white dress covered in stamps or a veil with stamps (kinda like Angelina Jolie's veil?) I guess the joke behind the outfit is that I'm the most anti-wedding person you could ever meet-- I contemplated just dressing as a bride b/c my friends would think that was funny enough. If you dress as Nadine from Twin Peaks I will pee my pants. Also, have you been inside a Trader Joe's lately? Friggin killin it in the pumpkin department. Pumpkin O's cereal is a new fave in this household and their pumpkin chai latte is money. Anyway, I guess what I'm saying here is let's be friends! Yeah? Chanson-- I'm kinda torn about Halloween. I don't drink and I don't like fun and I don't like crowds or parties and I'm old so Halloween can feel kinda weird to celebrate as an adult. But! I never had it as a kid because it doesn't exist in Sweden. By the time I moved here I was too old to trick or treat. I know some ppl on here are prob like "you're never too old to trick or treat! Haha kid at heart! Fight the system! Get that candy!" But you have to realize I care about what people think of me and always have, soo.... since I never got to have the true Halloween experience I try to be festive and partake in the holiday somehow every year. But yeah, it's def the "eh" part of this holiday season. Just waiting for Thanksgiving to come! And my November birthday so my mom can serve her annual reminder to me that I'm unmarried and childless! WOOT

AV, it's my favorite time of year too. I'm really annoying about it.... I wear boots even when it's still sunny and 70's, I bake something pumpkin or apple related every few days and try to hit up every hick fair in my area (it's Maine, so there are countless)... I keep picking up cheap harvest-themed trinkets every time I go to Rite-Aid because they're 50% off. My latest purchase was his and hers centaur-ish figurines but except for being half man-half horse they are half owl-half pumpkin and are wearing pilgrim clothes-- my boyfriend is just like "ummm errr I love them!! Yeah! These are great!!" every time I bring this cheap shit home. I'm gonna be a mail order bride for Halloween.

oh it's the chip gallery now? hm. if they're gonna mess with the formula they should pick something less obvious than boring ass chips. i bet everyone on the forum has eaten much more baller food in a movies theater... i used to not care about things like impressing men on dates and stuff so once i went to the movies on a first date and smuggled in a super size box of cracklin' oat bran under my puffy down vest and pulled it out, all proud-like. i was such a bad ass you guys. if you haven't had COB i feel bad for you. like, this is the face i'm making if you haven't had COB: also i went to the movies once with a couple who both were really orthorexic and had a deathly fear of carbs and pulled out hardboiled eggs and tuna packets in the theater. like seriously the 2 worst smells ever in a lethal combination. they hash tag all their food on facebook "#tuplife because everything they eat is put in tupperware. it's a bodybuilding thing i guess? but they're not bodybuilders? they also were the types who make you feel like shit about how you eat and told me that the stuff they put on movie theater popcorn causes lung cancer... anyway i guess i'm just bitching about whatever because i didn't comment last week and feel guilty. hope everything is ok in your neck of the woods, andy! your absence on the forum is always felt!

Mean Detective-- YOU ARE EXCUSED ....but actually, I kinda feel ya on the peanuts vs pb sitch... growing up, i was def on the loose nuts team. but that's b/c there's no such thing as peanut butter in sweden so then when i moved here and first heard about peanut butter i thought it was literally butter with like chunks of peanuts in it. oh and to further prove how removed sweden is from the pb lifestyle-- some swedish friends of mine came to visit me recently and having never seen peanut butter before they wanted to try it and so i had this whole breakfast spread set up and i looked away for a second and then turned back and realized that they had spread cow's butter on their toast, let it melt, and then spread peanut butter ON TOP of that splodgy mess. and then they did the whole loud "MMMMMMMMM" thing with the fake head nods that you do when someone serves you really gross stuff but you feel like you have to pretend to like it. i flung my hands up in the air, looked at the camera and said "I GIVE UP!" and the studio audience cheered Joe, you better believe I will be tuning into Utopia! I've heard great stuff about it-- mainly that the live feeds (which I think are free?) are a hot fucking mess and that the people on there are loons... I hope this is true!
