Guys I've been hovering around on the forum for the last 2 hrs waiting for the newbies' animal pics. I've been strongly hinting for a while now that H+S should give more dating advice but they never bite-- I think it was just a one-time thing. Do we have to like Christianity to be considered for the position? I went to a Catholic high school and got detention a lot for dress code violations and also one time when I pushed my theology teacher to tell my class about condoms (he was in charge of my school's version of "sex ed" but he only gave us the basics on natural family planning and checking the cervical mucus levels of his wife who also worked at our school). My 2 best friends in high school went down to DC to hold up pictures of dead fetuses on the mall at one of those dumb million march things-- they're Obama voters now. Anyway, I am hardworking, professional, a team-player and always on time! But like I mentioned, I'd need to know if liking Christianity is a crucial part of the job. Yes, Swedish fish are Swedish. And there's plenty more flavors besides the red ones, btw. I don't know that Finland fundamentally hates Sweden but they've def got a lot of xenophobic vibes going on over there and they don't just extend to Swedes. But there are exceptions to the rule-- fun fact, my grandma was born and raised in Finland in a time where a large swath of the population was starving to death. She got a refugee status of sorts and was hauled off to Sweden, escorted by a group of Swedish soldiers (yes, they did and still do exist). One of those soldiers laid the mack down HARD on my grandma and she was like alright I guess I'll marry you and learn the language and then they had my mom and then she had me (eventually). It's been very weird to visit Finland with my fam because all I ever heard about that place was how awful and terrible everything was and how all there was to eat were potatoes and leeks and then I got there and was like "THIS PLACE FRIGGIN RULES CAN I PLEASE STAY THX". I don't know if you know anything about Finland's rapid socioeconomic growth/technological advancement/best education system in the world but it's really fascinating because seriously that place was a shithole a few decades ago and now it's crushing every top-10 list of "You'll Never Guess Which Country is the Coolest" on Buzzfeed and Upworthy. I don't think I answered your question too well but I'm not a big Finland expert. I think the last time I went there was in '09 and it was wayyyyyyy up north above the arctic circle where there are no people so it barely even counts?
