Episode 13 β Andy Daly, Our Close Friend
hugLife replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Hollywood Handbook
I counted 2 (since it is a loose rule that brown people always keep an eye out for other brownies ((you have to be brown to use that term))) in that video. I mean, the have Bloods and Crips in Norway (I did just imply that they were probz brown). I just figured that some of the authentic gangsterness over there would diffuse across the borders from time to time. Freja, I kind of need you to weigh in on this one for authenticity. What is the cultural landscape out there? -
It would be pretty hilarious if we did all start positing in a dead forum just because. Either way, consider yourself officially "joined."

Issues with this song/video: 1. the duct tape version of the Nelly bandaid 2. the part when the 2 dudes woke up in the same room in their mom's house 3. the only brown girl in the video was used only for a cliche booty shot 4. the $5 Audrey Hepburn sunglasses that were being worn at both day and night 5. they use washers as money over there? 6. the haphazard use of a fog machine inside of the booth 7. the part where he said "Facebook ingvadenn fulcom foddle" because that line just had to be stupid 8. the part at 2:39 when the dude was casually peeing into the water while smiling at the camera 9. the rapping and singing under a rainbow 10. the part in the very end when they were trying to recreate that iconic Dirty Dancing pose 11. knowing that some people over there seriously like that song 12. remembering that rap here is currently just as bad -

Well, I am glad that I wasn't the only one, because I really wanted to weigh in on that one. Maybe he was hinting that they will start doing call-ins again so that people can perform on the show? It was probably that. -

I'm loving this recommendation so far. Did they stop for good in August? I have separation anxiety and I can't deal with the concept of another good podcast not being made for free, forever, just for my amusement -

Hey peeps, I just wanted to take a moment to say that I had some good laughs in here in 2013. If I don't die from stray bullets flying through my windows from people firing off some classy New Year's bullets down the street, I look forward to more giggles in 2014 -
Episode 12 β Ben Schwartz, Our Close Friend

I created a band (of 2) just to do one rap performance in college. We were the Jungle Kats "J/K". I was Jag-War and I named my counterpart Leo-pardy Time. ...I broke us up after that one performance, but I think that this technically qualifies as a band. -

Here is my Kwanzaa contribution to the forum- Since I can't draw and I don't have halfway decent audio equipment, I wanted to be clichΓ© and write a poem/rap (a prap): Adjust your bifocals, sit down and take a good look at these notes listed for you in the Hollywood Handbook. Clean your ears with a q-tip to hear tips on Tuesdays Sean and Hayes are too hip like the new wingtip shoe craze. Learning facts from close friends about how stardom begins It's a guide to the inside of the big time and we just peek in. In case you didn't know Earwolf, we're the best forum, let me inform 'em I'm the presiding judge about to give a few shoutouts and I need decorum: Valley B sings songs and hangs with hobos named "Loogie", Chanson lives in Fogland and loves Washington apples truly. AndyTelekinesis is cool because he lives in Compton, and I'm glad to finally see another post by Erika Thompson. MattCameron representing the south of the Mason Dixon, The Narnold is now "Skrimps" and that new name is sick son. Greggy's post make me feel like I'm reading Flowers for Algernon, and Ged, a 600 word post is too damn long. If you didn't realize Bruce Reid is literally Jason Mantzoukas Burdrulz is a sentient pigeon who is always creating some cool sh*t. The Octerdoctor stays scoop troopin' keeping the forum in the know, If you ever go to Florida, say hi to Bill Russell Crowe. And quick RIP to Toby Wreath who kind of disappeared, Haggplant Parmeslalex just picked his name cuz it sounded weird. Avoiding the England traffic just takes a little bit of Common Sence, and when Lucas Holmes gets mad he starts ripping out hearts like the ancient Astecks. I regretted stating trying to incorporate everyone's name right after I started. That took 8x longer than I thought that it would, but I just wanted you to know that you are loved. Sorry if I left anyone out or you thought that it sucked. Enjoy the rest of your Kwanzaa, and keep promoting Umoja and Kuumba always!- 67 replies

This literally made me laugh out loud. Aww, look at us all falling in like with each other. Sean would prob host the meetup if we all brought his a new cat to add to his collection. -

This was the best Christmas miracle that I have ever woken up to. I love how you downplayed it at first so I could be BLOWN AWAY by awesome. I am really thankful for all of you wonderful forum peeps. Y'all are some chill folks p.s. I hesitated to close the page after hearing that song and wound up listening to 8 other recordings. Your soundcloud account is thoroughly entertaining, stories and singing alike. -
I am glad that the engineer team was able to save the majority of this episode. It got cut at a really good part so you should round everyone up and make them have the same convo one more time!

hugLife replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Yo, Is This Racist?
Or maybe they were just slightly misinformed? The article that you posted has McConnell saying that he disagreed with the president about sanctions... that is also slightly misinformed if you take that as solid proof that he was against the concept of apartheid. You could combine the two gift ideas to make one super gift. You could make some of those "Domicile-challenged Americans" very happy -

You guys were so good to engineer Sam and he hardly appreciated it. It sucks that he will never get the chance to ride that new motorbike to the studio, but I'm glad that you guys stood up for yourselves. Ben Shorts was soooo funny! I really love how he explained the methodology behind his acting in all those movies. How did he prepare his makeup for all of those roles? Can someone take me through that process? -

Burdrulz, I don't have any funny tattoos, so I can't really speak on that. All of mine are art pieces worthy of the MOMA. Chanson, you know you want one. Stop frontin'. I promise you that they don't hurt that much. Veebz, I have only 6 tattoos right now. I am currently finalizing two face pieces though. Where is your most oddly placed tattoo? The Narnold, I think that your tattoo of a heart with "Mom" scrolled across it is both classic and charming. You should get an anchor on your other arm. -

Hey y'all, I kind of want to follow up the Valery Brian initiative an ask everyone some questions: 1. Who is the most high-profile celebrity that you have ever met? 2. Aside from everyone who has been a part of "HH," which celebrity would you like to meet (living or dead)? 3. What is your favorite type of apple? My answers: 1. Lou Ferrignope 2. Dave Shapel 3. Pink Lady -
Episode 112 β Christmas With The Birthday Boys
hugLife replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
You have had a lot of big guests on this show, but I am not afraid of saying that The Birthday Boys were the funniest. This episode was hilarious and all of the scenes flowed really smooth. Please have them back again! -

That was a big 10-4 (the Citizens' Band radio term for "message received) on the shout out guys. I so much preferred the new name over that Tablet-ruining sweet piece of ass because my old CB name was "The Barn Swallow," and nearly nobody ever wanted to talk to me about ornithology/birding. -

Hey y'all, hate to be an alarmist here but, does anyone else see the Hollywood Handbook forum permanently "marked as read".... like of the other shows that no longer exist? Should I file a complaint on computers.com? -

I heard a rumor on TMZ that the ol' "Handbook Boyzz" aren't going to even acknowledge the forums again unless there are at least 100 posts or above each week. Something about their "status quota." Greggy, you are going to have the lead the charge on this one if anyone is ever going to get a shoutout again. Chanson, your 1 in 10's need to be 1 in 2's from here on out. -

This is one of my favorite quotes ever. Thank you for keeping the comedic flame of G dubs forever burning.
