EPISODE 17 - Science Fair
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
Yeah. Once the improv started, I had to go back and listen closely to their introductions to pick up on the nuances of their voices. And I'm pretty sure that Amanda was Meredith/Dana, and Maria was Mrs. White/Joanie. #DireStraits -
Episode 1623 - Scott Aukerman

Missing out on those great Players' Club episodes too. Greg Behrendt! Todd Glass! Kulap Vilaysack! Matt Gourley! -
I subscribe to Never Not Funny. Its a great deal. 3-4 hours of video entertainment every week. I love it. I would love if Hooray Show went video. Those VPN Earwolf shows were great. Its stupid that a Who Charted?, improv4humans, or Comedy Bang Bang! doesn't have video options.

Guy's like talking into a Solo cup while a Caribbean drum plays in the background.

Earwolf has a stable of great improvisers now... Lauren Lapkus, Horatio Sanz, Jessica St. Clair, Lennon Parham, Andy Daly, Jason Mantzoukas, and Matt Besser. Are you planning an all-Earwolf show anytime soon? Maybe with Jimmy Pardo as your guest?

Sportin' that Pistol Shrimps t-shirt! If anybody doesn't know, Matt Gourley and Mark McConville have a new podcast--Pistol Shrimps Radio--where they do play-by-play of the LA Women's Rec League basketball games of the Pistol Shrimps team that Stephanie plays on. Its hilarious. Colin Hanks stops by for an episode, as does Paul F. Tompkins, and Tig even drops in for a bit. Its great. Dire Straits.

Yeah, I had to let go of my crush on Stephanie because I'm not nearly as funny as Tig. But you can pry my crush on Tig out of my cold dead hand!

So, those pest control robots at the beginning... why would those farmers need to call the police to catch it? The lady cop runs over to it and picks it up over her head! But for some reason, those 4 farmers are powerless to stop it.

When I was listening to the Kulap Chart theme, I realized they didn't play The Bugle! Brrrrr, brrrpy, brrrr! The Bugle!

Gabrus and Gemberling... AKA "The Heavyweights" ...is "Jim and Tom" supposed to be Scott's "Mitch and Delores?" Hahaha

Episode 1622 - Lauren Ash
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
I dig me some Lauren Ash. -
Another good way to ward off loneliness or feeling alone.... listening to podcasts! Great to have the whole gang back in the hatch. And the guest was delightful. It was fun hearing a non-comedian/improv person playing along with Kyle's Christ High silliness.

Here's my plugs theme submisssion:

This is probably 6-7 too many PLUGS but its okay... Liz is my friend.

Episode 1621 - Anthony Rapp
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
Hahaha, when I saw the guest, I knew Jimmy would have to talk about how he hates Rent, but goes to see it every chance he gets and doesn't know why. Its come up a lot over the years, but my theory is that he likes it and is ashamed to admit it. Also, Anthony Rapp is great in Road Trip. He played that creepy weirdo guy perfectly. -
EPISODE 113 — Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze: LIVE!
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in How Did This Get Made?
In case you aren't aware, Matt Gourley interviewed "Raphael" from the first movie on his "I Was There Too" podcast. Its a good listen for Turtle fans. And a good podcast for podcast fans. http://iwastheretoo.wolfpop.com/audio/25599/teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-with-josh-pais -

The voice of Splinter in the 2007 CGI Turtle movie has an even heavier accent than Kevin Clash's Splinter. But that one was voiced by an actual Japanese actor, Mako. -
Supercut of All the Heynong Man's from Episode #356 - Heynong Man.
HotSaucerman posted a topic in Comedy Bang Bang
I put together this little mix of every time they say "Heynong Man" from the Heynong Man episode. Enjoy. -

EPISODE 113 — Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze: LIVE!
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in How Did This Get Made?
I highly recommend the documentary "Turtle Power: The Definitive History of the TMNT." It really is amazing to see how two guys, Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, self-published a satire of comics in the 1980s, and now they're millionaires and kids are still playing with Ninja Turtles 30 years later. -
EPISODE 113 — Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze: LIVE!
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in How Did This Get Made?
Maybe its just the nostalgia of being a guy who grew up playing with Ninja Turtles, and watching the cartoons and the movies so many times, but I don't think "TMNT 2" is all that bad of a movie. ESPECIALLY when you compare it to "TMNT 3: Turtles in Time." That movie is pure garbage. I think its way more fitting as a HDTGM movie than the second one. And somehow, they talked Elias Koteas into coming back to play Casey Jones. Also, Corey Feldman is back as Donatello. (He couldn't be in the 2nd one because he was in rehab.) -

I just re-watched TMNT2 for the thousandth time. And I still like it. Its not as cool as the first one, but its still fun. About to start this episode... -
EPISODE 193 — Into the Thunderdome
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
I guess this is what happens when long-ass debates about social issues break out on the improv4humans message boards. Its a comedy podcast, folks. Plus no one even knows who Sun Kil Moon is.
