EPISODE 16 — The Sweet Sound of Success with Max Success Champion
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in With Special Guest Lauren Lapkus
"When there was one set of footprints, that's when I shattered my penis" -
Looks like Netflix pulled this movie from instant, sometime between this episode and the last minisode, because I checked and it was there last week... Sucks cuz halfway through the episode, I feel like I need to watch this crazy movie to better enjoy the episode.

Yep. And he's the infamous LittleButtonPuss.

Anaconda was just like that Booty song by J-Lo and Iggy Azalea--an excuse to make a music video showing off their exceptional rear ends. No complaints about that here. (although, of the 3, I think J-Lo is the only one that's au naturale)

Nice to hear a real Southern accent on a podcast for a change.

I love Greg Behrendt. One of my favorite comics. And the whole "Just Not That Into You" phase is so interesting.

Episode 1603 - Jen Kirkman
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
I'm just surprised that adults listen to that. I'm not sure what the appeal is in Taylor Swift for someone 30 or older. -
I love a good Howard and Stard episode, but I hate that its under these circumstances. We're all gonna miss Harris so much, but I like knowing that there's still unreleased Harris stuff out there. Like earlier today, I must have watched the Don't Stop or We'll Die video for "Lisa" about 20 times. And I don't blame Howard for hating Phish. They suck. Stard made some good points, but I just don't think Trey Anastasio is a very good guitarist. His guitar solos are too long and aimlessly wandering. And they like to vamp around on one idea to the point where it becomes tedious to listen to. There's a reason why Phish gets labeled a jam band and not a jazz/fusion ensemble. I play guitar and used to play saxophone pretty seriously, so I can appreciate some good instrumental music. But I'd rather listen to a tightly constructed Jeff Beck tune, where everybody takes just 2 choruses to solo and comes in under 5 minutes, versus an extended Phish jam where Trey Anastasio dicks around for 10 minutes, playing every lick he knows.

Episode 1603 - Jen Kirkman
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
I'm on board with what Jen said about Taylor Swift. There's way too many grown ass adults paying way too much attention to a girl with a mediocre voice that makes music that's essentially for 12 year old girls. I just shake my head whenever Howard Kremer starts talking about how great Taylor Swift is. But she's got that powerful record industry propaganda machine behind her and people can't escape it. -
EPISODE 221 — A Tribute To Harris Wittels
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Who Charted?
This was a very nice tribute. I liked how Harris was one of the few Whooch guests that was also a fan of the show and listened to it. Everybody should go watch the VPN episode. Its good times. (Also, I'm glad I got to hear that sentence flub from Howard again. "You not know jo-geography." Hahaha, classic.)- 47 replies

Episode 7 - Je Suis UCB - OR - (a funny thing happened on the way to the diorama convention)

I had no idea Todd Glass did an episode of improv4humans. I can only assume its packed with stop and start bits. -
Waiting on deck to record his podcast, I guess.

Do you really need a Squatty Potty? Can't you just lean your upper body down and be in the same position?

EPISODE 336 — NOT Farts and Procreation 4
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
I have to wipe away my tears to write this comment. Harris was such a funny bastard to the point where it was kind of annoying, but you weren't put off by it. He was effortlessly funny. Pulled jokes out of his ass better than anyone. And that made him such a great guest on Comedy Bang Bang. This opening by Scott had me crying. I wanna hug you, Scoss Alkermin. But damn... I'm so grateful that I found my way to Earwolf.com and all of this hilarious comedy. I never want it to end.- 369 replies

Its awful. Just awful. It feels so much sadder than other celebrity deaths, because podcasts bring you so much closer to a person than a movie or a TV show. And when Harris was on, it was always a good time. Good jokes, bad jokes, he was such a likable guy. There's a giant hole in the podcast world now. I usually look forward to Mondays for CBB and a whole week of new podcasts, but this week's going to be rough. I imagine we'll be hearing lots of funny stories about Harris. Laughing and crying at the same time.

Episode 1602 - Andy Daly
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
Oh man... this episode is awesome. If you're not in the Players' Club, A: you outta be, and B: if you just want to see the video for this one, its easily worth the $2.99. And the prospect of more Andy Daly Pahcast Pahlah Pahhpah is pretty damn exciting. (Gotta get "Larry" on one of them!) Maybe it'll coincide with the new season of "Review" like last year. -
I've been gradually working "Jordan, Jesse, Go" into my podcast listening. Its pretty good. Jesse's always a good guest on "Never Not Funny" too.

EPISODE 13 — The Tom Leykis Radio Program

This was awesome. Makes me wonder if Adomian will eventually have his own Earwolf podcast. And Lauren's "Pamela" voice was hilarious. -
EPISODE 174 — Whiplash Ft. Armen
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
Without going back and listening to this episode or the Who Charted episode, but... didn't Besser offer to let Armen take more classes at the UCB for free? And Armen just blew it off? Am I recalling that correctly?? I really struggle to make sense out of this Armen guy. -

EPISODE 174 — Whiplash Ft. Armen
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
God damnit, I love to hate Armen. He may be responsible for the worst Who Charted's ever, but I guess they're memorable. [shrug] -
I feel like JJ Sandy would be a character played by JB Smoove. Just saying.
