Episode 15Z - Dave Holmes
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
Feels weird to listen to this instead of watching it for a change. -
I'm not much of a fan of Iliza's stand-up, but I usually like hearing her other places: podcasts and @Midnight and stuff.
-
I refer to my previous line.... quote from Paul, "Its a free podcast!" now listen to this ad.... and refer to a service like Crackle, "Its a free movie!", no watch this ad.....
-
I don't want to spend 2-3 bucks on this movie. Just like most of the movies lately... I mean... if Paul's gonna bitch at us about "its a free podcast!"... then read ads to us.... he should pick movies from Crackle.... "its free movies!"... but we have to see ads.

Episode 1525 - Jon Hamm
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
I enjoyed the first season of Oranges: The New Black. The 2nd season got really bad towards the end. I just couldn't keep suspending my belief again and again. And the stories got exhaustingly boring. And as its been discussed several times before, people like the show and want it to get recognition, but it can't compete in the drama category, so it gets pushed into comedy. And to quote Jimmy's bit about people throwing out obvious lines in conversation: "Hey, you know who's funny? Jon Hamm!" or "Hey, you know who's a good actor? John Goodman!" ...YES! WE KNOW! -
Episode 235 ā Al-Qaeda's NCAA Violations
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Sklarbro Country
I haven't really followed wrestling in a long time. But usually if McMahon doesn't like somebody, its over contract negotiations and money and stuff. That's why Hogan left the WWE and was in the WCW for years. Whenever somebody's wrestling contract is up and they show up with the other guys, its for the money. Macho Man left WWE in the 90s and never went back. -
Episode 235 ā Al-Qaeda's NCAA Violations

Thanks for bringing up the Taylor Negron episode. Sad that we lost him, and its one of my favorite episodes of Sklarbro Country. Its just damn funny. -
Mary Holland. She kills me. I wanna call her up and make Dan Engler delete this comment.

Fair enough. When I'm listening to music with my buddies, I always enjoy their little ramp ups and descriptions of the song. What to listen for and such...

Sucks that this podcast is over. I'll probably listen to the back episodes that I missed. I always liked Elizabeth. She's adorable and a very nice interviewer.

Episode 10 ā The Wild Horses Show
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in With Special Guest Lauren Lapkus
"improv4womans" I loved this. This could be its own weekly podcast. -
"It's been a whiiile..." since they've done a movie worth watching. Ever since Easy Rider 2, they've just been doing horribly awful movies. I know they're supposed to bad movies, but "iiiits been" exhausting to sit through these films.
-
Bitch, you guessed it!!! I would love a weekly round-up of good music hosted by Stard. Just a half hour with whatever Earwolf guest is on that week. Playing and recommending music. Kinda like how the Sklars push the music they like at the top and bottom of their show.

"Kulap's sex pole"... hahahaha

As a sax player, and despite my hatred for David Sanborn's smooth jazz forays... whenever he's in a hard jazz/funk mode, he's got one of the best alto sax tones out there. And its pretty much true for Kenny G too. His smooth soprano sax bullshit is exactly that, bullshit. But I've heard him break it down on tenor sax with Arturo Sandoval and he can straight up jam!

Episode 1523 - Paul Provenza
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
Ya know. Technically, he has. He did Paul Stanley way back in the Comedy Death Ray Radio days when Jimmy had to fill in for Scott. And I think Pat's hilarious when he does those characters--be it Paul Stanley or Bruce Spring(puppet)steen. It would be great to hear him on a Comedy Bang Bang or maybe a Sklarbro Country. Maybe as Paul Stanley as a reaction to that Folgers commercial. Never Not Funny fans would love it. But of course, we'd first have to explain Pat Francis to Rich Sommer. -
Episode 9 ā The Dr. Phil/Victor Ramos Show LIVE from UCB-Sunset
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in With Special Guest Lauren Lapkus
This goes off the rails so many times. I love it. -
Episode 1523 - Paul Provenza
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
Definitely agree with Paul that Jimmy would've been a better choice to replace Craig Ferguson than some actor from the UK. Norm Macdonald would've been a better choice. I also think Greg Behrendt would've been good. -
I thought I posted something in here... shit keeps disappearing. Its weird.

Episode 66 ā Paul F. Tompkins Again, Our Close Friend
HotSaucerman replied to agata's topic in Hollywood Handbook
I apologize for the following sentences. I do not enjoy the Hollywood Handbook podcast. I find the hosts to be very annoying and unfunny. Again, I'm sorry. What was the point of this comment? I don't know. I just find it strange and puzzling that people listen to this podcast and like it. Again. I apologize, and please just overlook this comment and go about your day. The end. -
I think that was the saddest plug ever. For Mulaney. Also, I like picturing Paul F. Tompkins sitting at his computer, in his boxers and a t-shirt, wife asleep in the bed, going on Amazon, ordering Cantina band figures for Scott, and typing out "but dit dut dit duh dit duhhh b'dubba dubba dubit dowww dow."

If the did this one, it seems like they'd HAVE to get Gillian Jacobs and PFT as Garry Marshall on.

Episode 008 ā Kiss Me, Iām Patrick McMahon LIVE!
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in The Andy Daly Podcast Pilot Project
"Its been a while" since I listened to this. Listening again, I almost forgot how absurd Scott's accent was. He loses it for a minute then tries to correct it and Paul says "oh, that was a close one" LOL. -
Not a single Brandon joke in the comments? Ohhh Brandon, he's so big. The shadow he casts hides all comments about him.
