Episode 1 — Public Domain with Paul F. Tompkins
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in With Special Guest Lauren Lapkus
Somebody should go in and edit out all the parts when they say "edit this out"... then we can listen to a 15 minute version of the podcast and it have it make zero sense. -
Howard's been talking about "monetizing" the podcast. He should've talked to Jimmy Pardo about it. What chartist wouldn't drop 30 bucks to have 2 video podcasts every week for 6 months?

What's next? Is Cake Boss gonna have a podcast? (cakeboss) One could only hope. -
Episode 207 — Grown Ups 2 Causes Terrorism
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Who Charted?
I like how whenever the word "Intervention" comes up, Jimmy has to bring up that interventionist guy Jeff Vonvonvondoren. The only people that get that joke are people that have watched a lot of episodes of "Intervention"... Interesting fact about that guy--he actually relapsed and had to leave the show for a few years, then he got sober again and came back. -

Episode 005 — Eye On Theatre with Don DiMello

Listening to this one again.... god damnit, I loved how Mantzoukas kept slipping out of character. He plays great straight man to Andy Daly's madness. -
Earwolf mercilessly teasing Lauren Lapkus podcast
HotSaucerman replied to A New Duck's topic in General Earwolf
There was an ad for it on Who Charted, said it was coming out today. But I don't see it. Maybe it'll be a Friday show and that ad was meant for Two Charted....[shrug] I don't know. -
Episode 182 — Fantasy Baseball/Neurosis
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Professor Blastoff
"Well, when you sit down, you sit on yourself" I love this episode. I always love Tig on Never Not Funny, and the reverse dynamic is hilarious. I also learned nothing about fantasy baseball. -
Bob Ducca COMES IN LIKE A WREEEECKING BALLLLL!!!!! Plus, Pardo is hilarious when he's playing straight man to a character. There's a handful of episodes that I really need to revisit. Sometimes I listen to them at 2 AM when they're released and I doze off somewhere in the middle.

I put in the first two Victor and Tiny episodes. The first Claudia O'Doherty. Cake Boss exorcism. Wompler's Birthday. 5th Anniversary special. Yoke Jams with Pardo and Bob Ducca. One of the Horatio Sanz, and both parts of Oh Golly. I think Andy Daly has the lock on number 1, maybe number 2. Its a race for 3-10 this year.

Did you guys vote for the Best of 2014? I thought it was easy until I got down to my last 4 picks. Had to leave off some really good ones.

The audience reactions in Chelsea's special are crazy funny.

I vote for "Ernest Saves Christmas" ...the scene where he plays the snake wrangler--"Them snakes is PIZON!"--still cracks me up to this day.

In case you missed it, there's a free video of this episode up in the Store section of the site. Thanks HDTGM! http://store.earwolf.com/store/digital

Episode 66 — Wolfpop Curator Paul Scheer & Podcast Developer Matt Gourley
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in The Wolf Den
Yeah, it feels like a slight inconvenience. Having to go to a different website and learn a new schedule of show releases. Its like a new restaurant has opened and you have to learn a new menu and figure out which days have what specials, etc... Its a slight burden when you're already on a heavy podcast diet. -
Alex Borstein, Ana Gasteyer.... it would be awesome if this was a trend, and we got a Nicole Sullivan next week, then Molly Shannon. Debra Wilson, Cheri Oteri.... all the great 90s sketch comedy women. (FYI, Ana's album is on Spotify if'n you're the kind of fella that has a taste for some swingin' jazz tunes.)

Never Not Funny's sister show, Rock Solid with Pat Francis seems like it would fit in well on WolfPop since its already an established podcast with a good format centered on music and its funny. -
Episode 1514 - Matt Besser
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
Welcome to the club. It feels like Mantzoukas is long overdue for a NNF appearance. As was Matt Besser(he was on a early live episode though). Its definitely worth the price with 2 episodes a week. You're looking at around 80-100 hours of entertainment for just 30 bucks? Hard not to go for it. -
I should go back and check out that Twin Shadow CBB. I listened to the one with Bill Callahan the other day. Big fan of his now.
-
I tried to find this movie on the.... free sources *cough*putlocker*cough*.... but it didn't work. I don't care though. If you're doing a free podcast, better start picking movies from Netflix or something.... edit: Hahaha, best ending of a HDTGM podcast ever!!!

I think Howard nailed T. Swift in this episode. Who cares about some 23 year old millionaire?
-
Stard is the official "third chair" of Who Charted. They should make him a full guest one week and put Cody on the 1's and 2's.
-
What a fun episode. That Hank guy was pretty cool. He's a chartist!!! Its fun to hear another real deal chartist on the show.

I didn't know anybody ever looked at this message board. As far as I'm concerned, Lauren Lapkus isn't on enough podcasts. And YOU'RE STUPID!
