Episode 1509 - Pete Holmes
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
This is the fourth time I've heard my name on a podcast. -
The sound quality sucked, but I've heard worse. It didn't make me want to turn it off or anything. Unlike those old How Did This Get Made mini-episodes that were borderline unlistenable. Anyway, I like Dane Cook. And I can understand the backlash against him. He was ridiculously over-hyped. Sure, he's funny. But so is Nick Swardson. And Greg Behrendt. Dane wasn't groundbreaking like people made him out to be.

SKLARFACE!!! They gotta do it! Get that tattoo, Sam!!!

Yeah! That's a great one! Its a shame April's podcast is over. It added to a lot.

Yes. They are. -
Remember that movie? I remember asking my dad to rent that movie a bunch of times when I was little. Looking at it now, its just plain awful.

Episode 1508 - Eddie Pepitone
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
I love this episode. Especially because I get called out by name. I'm Joe Blankenship. So far, the podcasters that have said my name are as follows: Kulap & Howard: I've had 2 questions in the Tweet chart, and then Jimmy just called me out because I always throw my fan stuff up on the social media. I make a gif every now and then and put it on Twitter, and Jimmy and Matt usually enjoy it. Plus I'm always on the facebook fan pages. Its really cool that I got called out on the Eddie Pepitone episode because I love Eddie. Also, the gifs and shit that I do, I post them on my NNF tumblr. -
It kinda bugged me that he did the math wrong. Its 1064. But who can blame him? With that whistling! (I wonder why Kulap doesn't just say "stepfather" when she refers to the guy that raised her.)
-
Right. She rubs me the wrong way. But 8 years ago, I was smitten with a clueless girl not much different than her. To me, there's two types of podcasts I listen to. Podcasts I listen to based on the guest--like WTF--I don't listen to every single episode of WTF, but if there's a guest I'm interested in, then definitely. And there's podcasts I listen to no matter who the guest is--like Who Charted, CBB, NNF.
-
How bout this topic: Iggy's booty--real or fake? I want to believe its real, but I wouldn't be shocked if it was fake.
-
And you're right, Bruce. I listen to Who Charted for Howard and Kulap. The guests can be hit or miss on occasion. (That girl said "Who's Carson Daly?" and she recorded a song about 90s pop culture.....) That's why I usually enjoy Two Charted more than Whooch prime.
-
I would bet money that episode 200 will be Paul F.
-
Maybe its just me, but that girl was more cringe-inducing than charming. I listened to a few of her songs. Its just gibberish rap. Say whatever as long as it rhymes.
-
Might be easier to narrow them down to a "Best PFT Episode" or "Best Andy Daly Episode" but even that would be difficult. I know when Cake Boss turned into a Cake Wolf sticks out in my mind, and Andy Daly killing himself over and over in that Wipeout episode. All the Wompler episodes are great. And in my opinion, Traci Reardon's best appearance was the Live episode with JW Stillwater.

Speaking of Tusk--a movie based on a podcast conversation--where the hell is Nundercover?
-
I might be done with Soundcloud. This shit's ridiculous.
-
Ugghhh... its pretty stupid. We're on the goddamn Earwolf page. Its not like we've never heard of Squarespace, but if this thing continues with the little Soundcloud player, I'll just start downloading the episode.
-
I'd love it if there was a 3rd Who Charted with just Howard and Brett and whoever else, talking music and whatever.

Episode 1507 - Joe DeRosa
HotSaucerman replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
When he said "Roxy & Elsewhere" was the best Zappa album, I immediately liked this guy. It really is the essential Frank Zappa album to own, you understand? The band is top notch. And its a great mix of the zany, the rock, and the jazz fusion. -

Episode 1506 - Ben Gleib

I felt like I got called out when he mentioned a "Simpsons tattoo".... I don't have any tats, but I've always said if I got one, it would be Homer Simpson. -
Episode 1506 - Ben Gleib

Matt's indifference to Jimmy's angry outbursts continues to amuse me.
