did anyone else notice Scott slip in a quick "baby" towards the end of the episode? given it was right after they had just been discussing Traci Reardon, I'd still like to think that Lauren was astral projecting from elsewhere in the Earwolf studios and possessed him for a brief second. also I find it hard to believe that this was Mary's first appearance... I didn't realize the gravity of the situation since I had been binge-listening to all of i4h the last couple months. hopefully we'll see a Stephanie Allynne appearance in the near future... this show has never had a shortage of hilarious ladies, but not having each member of Wild Horses on the show at least once should be a crime.

I would have listened to an entire podcast of Scott and PFT grilling Natasha about Woody Allen. "has he ever mentioned The Murphy Group...?"

Episode 315 β Sandwich Therapy

there have only been two instances in CBB history that I have had to pause the podcast because I was physically laughing too hard to continue listening.... 1. Ducca's first list 2. "...your name is Zazzu." -

ohhh my bad, I misread your post and thought you were concerned that he hadn't mentioned it... because it did kinda fly under the radar much to everyone's confusion if I recall. regardless I'm glad you posted the link here because I had intended on looking it up later but it had totally slipped my mind. -

if I'm not mistaken, it was mentioned at the very end of the episode... albeit very vaguely. I couldn't tell if he was saying he had just taken a picture in the general vicinity of Seinfeld or if was an extra on the show, but that's what you get when someone's successful television program is named directly after them. for instance, saying "I saw Seinfeld yesterday!" could mean two very different things. -
better yet, slap that thing on a Gu... GuPro.

Episode 156 β Frozen Wogurt

speaking of dicks and ticks, the dog cum scene was great... but it would have been even better with a little bit of gemberLICKING -

for the record, I think engorged could also allude to eating too much (insert less-than-subtle Roger Ebert fat joke)... somewhere along the line it started to be used almost exclusively in reference to dicks, but it really just means to be filled up with something as far as I know. -
I've said be before and I'll say it again... Dane Cook is great! don't believe the hype... it's so easy to pile on someone who's as successful as he is. not to directly compare him to Carlin, but it's pretty interesting if you consider both their careers... if you go back and watch his early specials, he physically oversold the shit out of his jokes just like Dane is infamous for doing (he'll even admit it himself, i.e. the scissor kick comment). as far as the stealing of jokes and essences and all that, shit happens... doesn't mean he's any less funny. so far this episodes is reminding me of the early years where it wasn't bit after bit 100% of the time... and it's a good change of pace after listening to the UTU2TM ep that took immediate priority this morning.

maybe it's just me, but for me... that's the best part! it makes me miss the early days of WYR when Scott insists on describing the rules in the most convoluted way possible and the guests get confused... because honestly, I still don't know the difference between a "wood" pile and a "would" pile and I feel like he needs to explain it again. -
am I the only one who immediately consulted imdb whenever Ku said that she was the first cast member from the Jurassic Park franchise to be on the show? I had a vague memory of a child actor from the first movie being on a podcast... ended up I was thinking of Whit Hertford's appearance on (friend of the show) Johnny Pemberton's podcast Twisting the Wind. on his most recent episode he had Matthew Cardarople who, like Lauren, is starring in Jurassic World (as well as making a brief, disturbing appearance at the end of the CBB episode that's streaming on IFC right now). so arguably, Johnny is the only person to have more than one cast member from the Jurassic Park franchise on their podcast. for some reason I felt that this mental journey, though almost completely unrelated to Whoch, deserved to be shared.

Episode 315 β Sandwich Therapy

I completely agree. the scene where he was talking about all the stuff he would put in the small pocket on the back of the shirt was hilarious... and him just assuming he has HPV got me pretty good. I also hope the minor characters in this episode like Danielle Schneider and Rob Huebel continue to make appearances. "if that's your blue Camry out front, really great parking job..." -

just finished watching Marry Me and I was surprised at how great it was. I was a big fan of Happy Endings, so I shouldn't have been... but the conceit of the pilot was brilliant, especially the first scene. let's just hope this show doesn't go the way of most smart sitcoms on basic cable and die a swift, quiet death overnight... I'd rather see it suffer slowly over several seasons and finally end up on Friday nights where they force it to its figurative knees and put a bullet in its figurative head. in short, fuck NBC and all these other networks that fill up the schedules with low-brow, pandering nonsense so shows like this one get the axe just because most the network's viewership are lower than the lowest common denominator. as they say, the tallest blade of grass always the first to be cut... rant rant rant, etc. jesus, what am I saying...? we're in the golden age of television here, people. REJOICE! -

"I've heard of 'I Threw a Brick Through a Window' by U2, but... your window?" Scott's ability to seamlessly shoehorn a U2 reference into conversation is flawless. -

I definitely land somewhere between Howard and Stard on the new Prince album. the Simpsons comparison was pretty much spot on, but he still adds those little flourishes that make it very pleasant to listen to... as soon as I think to myself "oh, this just sounds like Prince in the 80's", he'll throw in something extremely weird that pulls me right back in. that being said, my favorite Prince album has been and will always be Controversy. Episode 201 β New Beginnings
hypnotizingchickens replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Affirmation Nation with Bob Ducca
this episode made me want to listen to all of his appearances on CBB... even though the daily affirmation format was great, nothing beats when he's just riffing with another person. that being said... "Sir Gobble Gobble Mescaline" absolutely slayed me. DUCCA IS BACK! -
the mental image of Steve suckling at Kulap's teat wasn't even sexual, it was just... majestic. (mouth noises included)

When is Affirmation Nation coming back?
hypnotizingchickens replied to Memphish_Boognish's topic in Affirmation Nation with Bob Ducca
since the episodes are usually around 3-5 minutes, does this mean a sneak peek is going to be.... about 10 seconds? regardless, I'm preparing my body for more Ducca... and it's exhilarating.
