it's also worth mentioning that German industrial pioneers Einstürzende Neubauten have two songs that appear in this movie... I love Jodorowsky, but I think it might be a bit too surreal for this podcast. it makes Zardoz look like The Tourist.

even though this is brought up every episode in which they make an appearance, it still doesn't get said enough. I've yet to hear anyone else do two concurrent characters where I completely and unintentionally suspend all disbelief that they're coming out of the same person's face. even the greats (PFT, Daly, Adomian, Lapkus, etc.), despite their skilled voice-work, can't quite pull that off without some slight overlap.

the coach's tips were a definite highlight of the episode for me... 1. write poetry like someone thinks it's good 2. TiVo your favorite shows like you're gonna watch 'em later 3. drink water every three days to survive
