Phenomenal show. So many stellar moments. The contest was especially great as a running joke.

Gaul is just killing it in this ep. The New Yorker cartoon was brilliant. I am also liking Gemberling and Aukerman arguing over getting Mute guests on the show.

I laughed so hard so many times. This is an easy pick for the Best Ofs for me.
Â
Mary Holland especially just floored me, right from her intro.
Â
And
Â
"So there I was, laying down, taking it."

"Black lives manners, is that something?"
Â
...pause, "Oh...well...good luck with that."
Â
I choked laughing at this. Jesus it was amazing.

love love love cameron. i always enjoy her on podcasts and her standup (non-tv) is so natural, hilarious & engaging. looking forward to hearing this one, especially with pft -- you can't really go wrong.
Â
on a side note, there are definitely a lot of guest comedians featured on this podcast that i don't find funny, but i never go out of my way to let everyone know "ugh...this comedian sucks!" i just know that they're not my cup of tea and move on. comedy, is of course, subjective as fuck.
Â
but let's not gloss over the fact that there are reasons a certain people seem to go after her more. y'all can figure it out.
Â
Very true.
Â
There are some guests that are quite popular that I can't stand. I don't feel the need to chime in, especially to people who like them.

The sexual tension on this episode is remarkable

Relistening to the CBB Olympic Song challenge immediately after hearing it the first time.
Â
Also, still laughing at the idea of the UCB locker room.

Gilly breaking into the Mogwai song was possibly the best moment on the podcast this year.

I will never get tired of Nick Wiger as Leo Carpazzi. Always amazing.

Jesus, this is phenomenal and I'm not even at the interview portion yet.

"Who knows- maybe Fitch was just a failed character- but for me, Fitch was a well played piece of anti-comedy and 'no-but'ting instead of 'yes-and'ing. Him making the other two jump through hoops until Scott's final meltdown had me laughing my ass off."
Â
Me too. The response in this thread has been very thatsthejoke.jpg for me. The total refusal to find the game or advance the plot was hilarious and Scott and Pardo trying to do it all from their side made for a good change-of-pace ep. C+.
Â
That's how I saw it (and enjoyed it) as well. He was being led down the path multiple times to find the game and he actively refused every opportunity. That's what made it funny to me.

"Observatory"
Â
Perfect delivery by Gemberling.
Â
Great ep all around. Always nice when a first timer plays so well.

Never was the biggest Horatio fan but I found this week's stuff to be just excruciatingly bad. I skipped over large chunks of it, I found it so unpleasant and tasteless.

"Now I've seen the kind of football where they hug each other and fall down kissing."

"Did you fuck something as a tea pot and then out of your tea pot vagina a tea cup came."
Â
I had to pause and cover my face as I laughed.

I'd like to see a 10' bed.

Victor trying to sing "My Heart Will Go On" was just so delightful.

God I love when Victor and Tiny talk to each other. Small is so great at NOT fucking those moments up.
