It's all fun and games until...
Charlie Murphy Brown replied to Bernard_Shakey's topic in New Catchphrase Suggestions
In this scenario, AFRebel is Shakey's 5 yr old kid. But there's a time warp element as AFRebel has got to at least be in his mid to late-twenties by now, so Shakey is remembering this past occurence? IDK. Either way, it is the truth. Candle in the wind, dust in the earhole, shit goan die, mud in your eye -

Episode 58 — Dave King, Steve Hely, and Kevin Etten, Our Close Friends

Bartholomew J slides down Sean's pant leg towards his haunted feets and sock. The sun's chill raysbans watch the scene unfold. It's a think piece about how global warmings is like a scary ghost requiring vocal warnings. "Look out Bart!" Sean shouts. "I haven't had my Ex or seez em yet!"- 132 replies

That was an extremely business like "What up what up" at the top of the show. Really set the tone. I appreciate the in-depth discussion of the Beach Boys and general music theory, but I prefer my fifths to be of vokka and Jack Daniels. Thanks for playing everybody's theme songs! Very fun ep! -
Episode 57 — Sean and Hayes, Our Closest Friends
Charlie Murphy Brown replied to agata's topic in Hollywood Handbook
I in no way claim to be from Beantown. But I did go to a Red Sox playoff game in 2005 against the White Sox. Boston didn't win the game or the series. (Chicago won it all that year) I ate a ton of ballpark food in Fenway and puked out by the train before going back to Worcester where I was staying. At the game, I swapped my two tickets for a supposedly better seat and 20 bucks from a scalper. I think I got swindled, but that's cool too. Yankees suck -
Ana is such a pro! Very very big time talent. So good. As a 5+ year college non-graduate in music I can say with mild authority that you want to jog to Charles Mingus. Pre-Bird (1960) for an upbeat pace. A Modern Jazz Symposium of Music and Poetry (1957) for an easy stroll.

Episode 57 — Sean and Hayes, Our Closest Friends
Charlie Murphy Brown replied to agata's topic in Hollywood Handbook
Sometime in the late 90s I sang "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer" with the actual Elmo (from Elmo & Patsy) on a snowy dark night in the woods of southern Arkansas. Way too cold for people to be doing music. He was an old man but you could still tell he had some shine and magic left inside. I fed him a couple lines standing there while the band played. I was only up front because I volunteered to do the singing part, learned the lyrics. Otherwise I would've been playing trombone as usual in the back of the stage. The thing with Elmo being there was totally random. We just picked the right holiday shindig to be at. But whatever, I also been Chuck E. Cheese. We all been Chuck E. Cheese in our own way. Thanks to everyone else who shared stories that will go on to inspires and junk. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aEMY_c7U9OA -
Episode 97 — Rhinestone: LIVE!
Charlie Murphy Brown replied to JulyDiaz's topic in How Did This Get Made?
Maybe it's just meatloaf, but I thought Jason really brought it all together going on with the audience Jason about how he was killing it on the name. I'm sure he does that a lot, but it was a nice moment of connectivity. Dolly ups the legitimacy of everything she is a part of. Matt Jones was solid. Very good live ep! -

Episode 91.5 — Ghost of Bob Odenkirk
Charlie Murphy Brown replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Ronna & Beverly
Bill Maher IS the WORST! Odenkirk is the BEST! Isn't he sort of like the godfather of modern absurdist humor? Maybe the great uncle- The argument could be made is all I'm saying. Thanks for calling, Saul. Fine work R&B! -

Episode 57 — Sean and Hayes, Our Closest Friends
Charlie Murphy Brown replied to agata's topic in Hollywood Handbook
Hello writers, Regarding funny voices in film and television. Is these come from actors, or does they originate in the writer's mind? E.g. your Jerry Lewises, or your Teri Garrs in Young Frankensteins. It's like their inflection and vocal delivery is an established dialect in itself. Many thanks -

Karl Marx is so Communist...How Communist is he!?
Charlie Murphy Brown replied to Bever Hopox's topic in New Catchphrase Suggestions
So Communist that he tried to shake hands with a palm tree! Because for the Banana Republics! (Also, How many communists does it take to screw in a Karl Marx!?) -
This was a good topic. Erin was very very! All the extended riffing on horse sounds was choice. Tig is more into monkeys, sweet. When is that episode going to happen? Have to figure out who the monkey expert is in the comedy community. Group dynamics can be tricky. Tig, Kyle, and David have been through some serious stuff together. Wild horses couldn't break them apart. Or at least maybe only the ones running along the beaches of North Carolina.

greggy is correct. Here's an artist's rendering from the good folks at the Hubble telescope. On any given Tuesday, in a galaxy far away, Sean rides in his aluminum falcons. The missiles are only for show. The torch is for marshmallows -

Episode 57 — Sean and Hayes, Our Closest Friends
Charlie Murphy Brown replied to agata's topic in Hollywood Handbook
Damn. The guys just totally dismissed my question. All Hayes said was "He knows." What does I knows? You try to have a real discussion and that's what you get. I will stick to general silliness from now on. Also, don't know if this is the time or place, but I produced some major content this morning. Followed by a sequel after lunch called "Big Doodies 2: Deuces Gone Wild." I'm in talks with distributors. Thanks S&H for this highly entertaining and informative Ep! Top notch -
It seems Engineer Cody Cody has really begun to develop his comedic voice. Knuckle cracking on command in the commercials, skateboarding on roofs. His powers are only increasing. And sandwiches are absoLUTEly nothing more than salads with bread around them. Except for PB&J, because I have not seen PB&J salads. Solid Ep! Alex was great Hopefully there will be no litigation brought forward from George Lucas and his people
