Episode 56 — Iliza Shlesinger, Our Close Friend
Charlie Murphy Brown replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Hollywood Handbook
To speak on that for a moment- you want to keep your hotdogs in the freezer. They can last years like that. And I think it's okay if you also use them as ice cubes and to stir martinis and booze drinks. Then you leave the dog in your beverage and after it's gone you have like a tequila worm scenario. I am certain I got this from Martha Stewart, so no worries. But isn't hotdogs a CBB thing? I personally stock popcorns all up in my fridge, and teasers all up in my freezer. Have a Halloween! -

Episode 56 — Iliza Shlesinger, Our Close Friend
Charlie Murphy Brown replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Hollywood Handbook
It all makes sense now, S&H are righters restling with viscous inner demons. Their interview style is one of polite torturings, the only way they have left to connect with humanity. Iliza was awesome! I made her a business card- 189 replies

Lists of Scott's "rules" to life
Charlie Murphy Brown replied to Bernard_Shakey's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
If your dress ever dries, the bus blows up. (Specifically applicable to Sandra Bullock in a Speed scenario) Ep318 -
"Biggest bladder, biggest lungs- straightaway." David is a cold, cold man, understandably. I think Kyle's dog was less annoying, though Pete is more versatile and knowledgeable about big words and belief systems. Also he'd probably never shit on the carpet. (But maybe if he drank enough we could get him close) Truth comes out (late in the ep), PH was clueless as to the existence of Beach Poop. Very rude. Question: What happens when PH doesn't find something humorous? I think he laughs even louder which is the issue most people have with him. Crazy thing is that his big laugh is probably partly a defense mechanism, a coping tool, like we all use. His tool, unfortunately can be overbearing and make others uncomfortable at times. But I guess a Pete Holmes is a necessary piece of humanity. Him, TJ, Chelsea, Kumail, Kroll, they all have their own bit of genius and we are happy to have them make us laugh. As for me, I will always be, a card carrying member of the church of Tigglebee.

I might be wrong but Hope Floats is definitely a prequel to Gravity.
Charlie Murphy Brown replied to Bever Hopox's topic in New Catchphrase Suggestions
Congrats Sir Hopox! And I am thinking, how does Demolition Man play into this equation? Released first (93) but seems to be futuristicly based. Who knows with Sandy-B, am I right? Good to know though, that Hope does floats after all -
Episode 55 — Lauren Lapkus, Our Close Friend
Charlie Murphy Brown replied to agata's topic in Hollywood Handbook
Joe McGhoul said we have to top 302. Do you think Hayes just came up with the ask a question ploy to bust the old record? That's smart if he did. But hopefully they will do a question off so we can get to the bottom of these pressing issues. You know what they say, at the end of the day, win or lose, it's how you play the fiddler that counts, Bruce Dern it all to helloween -
Episode 55 — Lauren Lapkus, Our Close Friend
Charlie Murphy Brown replied to agata's topic in Hollywood Handbook
To Whom It May Be Concerning, As hilarious as it was and remains to this day, is not the premise behind Reality Show Show, and its offshoots like your Joel McHales and Ryan Seacrests and Nick Latchkeys, isn't that whole "Hey it's important to act like this is important" thing just some marketers wet dream to push ratings and sales, while taking focus away from the creative catalysts and visionary content providers such as you two, Ferrell, Franco, McBride, Lena Dunham and Jesse Camp? If you each could speak on that, and does it ultimately effect the direction you'll be taking with the Handbook? Thank You both. Apart from Bo Jackson, you guys are the best -
Episode 55 — Lauren Lapkus, Our Close Friend
Charlie Murphy Brown replied to agata's topic in Hollywood Handbook
Guys, look what Lauren Lapkus did to us all. It's as if by some indirect contact through HH we have been touched by her essence. Extraordinary. Episode 54 — Clark Duke, Our Close Friend
Charlie Murphy Brown replied to agata's topic in Hollywood Handbook
I will be a Hogan's Heroes like Sean. Hayes wears his top hat low like Clint Eastwood. Clark shows us he's street. Costumes is fun. And are egging and TPing still acceptable Halloween activities? VB, yes I was absolutely thinking of Out of This World. Good call. And for the record, if Engineer showshowbro really is supposed to be the only Charlie on here, I would be willing to alter my name so that all is made right -

Charlie Murphy Brown replied to agata's topic in Professor Blastoff
Damn, that guest lady straight up said "Yeah, duh" to Tig! Like it weren't a thing. You don't tug on Superman's cape, you don't spit into the wind, you don't pull the mask off that old Lone Ranger, but apparently it's okay to mess around with Tig. Seems she's just cool like that. Fun ep! -
