    I especially enjoyed the arrival of this ep because the official name for the VW Thing is Type 181. Most beetles are Type 1, the buses are Type 2, and it goes on from there. I have a '73 Thing that I traded a '69 camper bus for back in 2013. They are called Things here in the US but are known as trekkers in Europe, safaris in Mexico, and in Germany it's the kubelwagen. Quite a few have shown up in movies over the years. Drew Barrymore had a yellow thing in 50 First Dates and in Speed 2 Sandra Bullock takes a driving test in one. 181s also appear in Spaceballs, Surf Ninjas, Tapeheads, Runaway Bride, Herbie Goes Bananas and more

     

    just wanted to say this now because it'll be ages before we get to ep 944 and I can talk about my porsche

    My favorite podcast comment is the kind that starts by saying how their favorite kind of podcast comment is when someone says their favorite kind of podcast comment. It's a great comment because rather than being purely sweet and helpful you end up wasting a little of everyone's time, which is what chocolate bunny rabbits are all about

     

    That being said, whether or not all these new forumers are actual real people or Russian spies or just Nick Wiger doing espionage it is nice to have them here

    What an intro! true mad dash to the finish til Hayes realized Sean was pulling ahead and cried out SHOWBIZ! maybe his safe word or something, interesting behavior from two guys famously known for not doing battles with each other

     

    Carl did very well, tho I'm still not sure what island he's from. It's so fun how HH is slowly becoming Pee-wee's Playhouse with the cast of characters who make appearances every week. If only they were stranded together on a desert island or in a runaway bus, then this might really take off

    Slammin grooves! Any time an ep is over an hour it's like the guest scored bonus time, or in this case like there was a hidden track at the end of an album. Some truly sonorous singing, but honestly I'm still trying to get over H&S not saying anything about the circle of fifths because I was really hoping to learn how that turns out

    At times we must ask ourselves what's real, it's one way of discerning between dream state and waking nightmare. I personally am fairly certain of my own realness. I got this zombie head and dirty yellow shirt with dark squiggle across the front. I got these lifeless white eyes and burns on my cheeks, plus one sliver of hair. Honestly I ain't doing so hot, but hey we got HH 180 coming just around the bend, which makes this existence tolerable

    april fools is fun but i got 19 more days until my big holiday ;)

     

    Yes, holidays are always nice but please nobody do a hitler birthday joke saying THAT is greggy's big holiday, we all know he was reefering to the 2 Days Prior to Earth Day when everyone is encouraged to take a public dump on a private golf course. But did you also know there is a third celebration that day?
