I know it goes without saying, but I'm "liking" your post out of sympathy and empathy. I don't know your exact situation, but in the last month, I've lost my grandfather, and two days later, my favorite Aunt, and one of my most favorite people ever to be in my life (regardless of genetics), was given 48 hours to live. She is also my grandfather's youngest daughter. She is way to young to go. Yet, for some strange reason, she has lived beyond that 48 hour prognosis, but it's not like there's going to be some last minute miracle or something and she's going to be okay. She is literally dying--slowly, though thankfully for drugs, not painfully. It is just a waiting game for the phone call at this point. So when I wrote that, I was only half joking. Just wanted you to know that I feel you, and I hope everything works out for the best for you and your loved ones. In closing, I'll just say: Fuck coconuts.

Oh, I know. It was more of my own personal musing. I don't know about Jason...I get the feeling he would check in from time to time out of idle curiosity. He mentions them quite a bit--begging us to fight or put together creepy trailers and whatnot. I don't think he makes it a habit or anything, but I can see him getting a kick out of laughing at some of the crap jokers like to post.

Do you think June ever reads this thread? I get the feeling like she loves doing HDTGM, but once an episode is over, it's over. Hell, she barely even knew what Paul did on the mini-eps--which was hilarious. You'd think she'd listen just because he does them. As far as Paul, I know he pokes his head in from time to time, but I don't think he has the time to keep up with it too much. And Jason...Man, I would love it if he was posing as one of us! Like, just being a normal person and commenting on the show and comic books, and aside from LinkedIn, it was his only online presence. Then one day, Quaser Sniffer or someone is going to be like, "Psych! I've been here the whole time, dumb-dumbs!"

Just to head off any, "But what about venues other than Largo" questions, and I think this goes into the "logistical issues" that Dan was referring to earlier, but I think Paul said somewhere this were issues with rights or distribution. Basically, wherever I heard/read that, I got the impression that it would just be a huge headache for them and more trouble than it's worth. But who knows what the future holds..? I mean, it sucks, but I guess that's just how it is. God knows they're never coming to Atlanta, so I guess I'm shit out of luck too.
