  1. Awww...go on! My thoughts on Oasis...I love them! I have all of their albums. My favorites are their final three: Heathen Chemistry, Don’t Believe the Truth, Dig Out Your Soul. I still follow Wings, er, I mean, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. I’m not really into Liam’s solo stuff. That being said, I think Blur was always far more interesting musically. I found the whole “new Beatles” label that Oasis tried to push would have been far better suited to Blur. Oasis was more superficially Beatles-y whereas I felt Blur better embodied the innovative spirit of The Beatles. I don’t think it always worked, but there was an attempt with Blur to push the envelope. Oasis, especially early in their career, just cribbed Beatles lyrics and played them through distorted guitars.

I don’t think you have to be completely scentless, just don’t be overpowering with it. I like what @taylorannephoto brought up, where the scent is almost hidden. I’m also of @Elektra Boogaloo’s mind in that the scent is for me more than anything - especially when it comes to shampoos and body washes. No one is going to smell my honey scented body wash but me, you know? As far as colognes and perfumes go, I personally don’t wear any (sometimes aftershave), but a subtle scent can be very attractive in moderation.
  3. I think he did use it when he was talking to TO over the corpse of his father..? He pots a couple of balls with his mind or something. I mean, I thought it was his dead father doing it at the time, but I guess not.
  4. He certainly had some telekinesis...but that's mo match for a good old fashioned bullet.
  5. I'm not sure how many of you are into Brit Pop, but not only was Phil Daniels (Billy Kid) in the movie adaptaion of The Who's Quadrophenia, he is featured heavily on the Blur song "Parklife.”
  6. Actually, I agree. While, I’m not going to lie, it took me a while to get through it, I did have a grudging respect for it. You don’t really get movies like this, not just anymore, but even then. It was just so absurd.
  7. You’ve got to respect a movie whose title and opening score makes you feel like you’re about to sit down and play an old school SNES game...

I had no idea that Clue had such a vibrant and thriving extended universe.

Yeah, I was pretty blown away when he said he didn’t like it. I thought Clue was pretty much universally beloved. I know I quote it all the time.

If you need a license to drive a car, than you should need one to aromatize!

That’s how I feel. I was going to say exactly, “It shouldn’t be smelled unless someone is kissing your neck.” It should be a more intimate thing. The problem is when people douse themselves. That’s not right.

  14. Profound! Every so often, a movie comes around that truly redefines “cinema.” We watched:

    Episode 224: Starcrash: LIVE!

Yes, Akton’s Dollar General brand lightsaber was offensive, but I had far more issues with the weapon Stella Star wielded for the majority of the movie. It was essentially an entire rifle made out of a bayonet. The logistics of firing such a weapon are beyond me. It seems to me as soon as you pulled the trigger, the recoil would slice your space fingers right the fuck off. (I could post a screen shot, but this image is far better.)

But who shall space dream a dream for us?

    Episode 224: Starcrash: LIVE!

Yes, but space Jean Valjean might also be in there because he stole space bread for his family. How do you feel about that?

    Episode 224: Starcrash: LIVE!

I’ve mentioned this before, but back when they announced Rhinestone, my brain heard “Rhinestone Cowboy,” which turned it to Urban Cowboy. Anyway, I watched most of that depressing turd before I realized what I had done - lol
