Episode 78 — Listeners Again, Our Close Friends
JMonsterface replied to agata's topic in Hollywood Handbook
Wow this A Bear legacy post has just skyrocketed in sentimental (and probably financial) value. I would like to now point out that A Bear is most certainly British Andrew. I mean, think of how little he actually said about Philadelphia in his call. He didn't even say "Philly"! -

Once I saw your comment I could not unhear this. It's probably Seth's grossest bit since neck-mushrooms. edit- I posted a link and it was deleted, so I'm assuming I was not supposed to do that, and I apologize.

Even though I was next in line, I am not at all devastated or crying all day! Everyone was so charming and and clever and lovable and made me feel like I'm in a big family just listening to the adults say funny swear words because they don't realize that I'm over in the corner hearing every word. At times I laughed so hard that it felt like someone was trying to take my mind apart with a fork.- 462 replies

It's ok kittens! When Tuesday rolls around you'll probably be the only person who gets to hear the episode for the first time, so your on-the-fly reactions to it will be very important to the people who got on and are hoping for some positive feedback! -

Episode 77 — The ScuzzMan, Dom's Close Friend

So back in 2011 I was interning on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. It was a Friday, and things were more hectic than usual. The writers had been pushing for more and more elaborate sketches and everyone was being run ragged trying to hammer down the particulars of a thank you notes segment in which Tom and Colin Hanks lay flat on their bellies suspended above a large shark aquarium while wearing #Thankyounotes branded sleeveless shirts and skin tight body stockings. The idea was that all of the lower level employees would sort of underhand-smack these huge chunks of meat into the aquarium to distract the shark long enough for Colin and Tom to get a selfie. The sketch ended up being a huge disaster. Tom almost lost an arm and threatened to sue. The whole episode had to be canned and they ran a "Best of The Bucket Hat Guy" clip package instead. That night at the weekly wrap party Jimmy was sullen. He was posted up all by him self in a corner. I walked up to him and tried to be consoling. He just couldn't understand what went wrong. I said to him, "Well, to be frank, the 'Hanks in thanks-tanks and spanx tank-plank/ low rank flank-steak-tank-spank' stank!" I was fired on the spot. Pranks but no pranks.- 285 replies

I propose the fanbase be referred to as "The Nation" and that individual fans be referred to as "natives" or if you're feeling cutesie, "natsies". -

Greggy, I love the podcast, and I already listened to this episode yesterday, but I'm pretty sure the fact that all of the posts say 0 listens is some kind of scam. A scam I choose to fall for. Please continue. edit-Also, I took a second look at that couch photo, and what the heck is that green thing? Could Hayes possibly be hiding inside of that? -

Spunky, I think I cracked your code! The missing words are clearly be, friend, be, friend, expectations of no friendship, smirk, fun, be, friend, sense of humor, and loff. Sorry to expose you Spunky, but there were spy madlibs in this months lootcrate, so I'm really on top of my game. -

This post didn't get any likes, so I imagine it wasn't all that great. I have now, through the magic of editing, changed it into a completely different post. Here is a dumb image I made when I heard that Engineers Cody were not allowed to have surge:
