  1. Dear Sean,

I hope this year is as good to you as you've been to all of us. From the countless hours and moments of laughter that lighten my life and free me, time and again, from banality (and oh how free it feels when I'm laughing), to the inspiration and insight of your more candid moments (particularly the beautifully open-hearted interview you gave on John Darnielle), I can't express how much better off I am for all you've given. I can tell you this though, I am damn thankful.

"Some things you'll do for money, some you'll do for fun, but the things you do for love are gonna come back to you one by one."

    Happy Birthday,

I hope it all comes back to you!

PS- I know this is kinda sappy and not at all funny, but come on, you're the comedy guy not me, you don't have to be such an asshole JEEZ!

  2. Beep

    Beep

    Beep

    BOOP BOOP BOOP

He was coding. His body was rejecting the transplant. I knew I had to do something, and fast.

I ordered 12 cc of lifenol and a scalpel. I cut into the wound. Viscera sprayed everywhere.

    beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep

    He was flatlining.

    That's when inspiration hit.

I ran to the computer and pulled up Earwolf. A nurse wiped the sweat from my brow as I feverishly scrolled through the pages.

Then, out of the blue, there it was. "I agree. They are on the best show. Hollywood Handbook."

    Bozos had saved the day.

Where were you when Bozos made that great post?

ps- the guy from the story died, but he was a Nazi so NBD.

  3. It's so refreshing to hear the boys expose that stupid Cars movie as being a ripoff of Roald Dahl's beloved Chitty Chitty Bang Bang script. We've all been thinking it!

I was also pleasantly shocked that Erin seemed to instantly have a story ready for my "Whats the meanest thing you've done to a parent?" question, but then somewhat unpleasantly shocked that her answer wasn't "Steal their kid, become their new parent, and then fuck them in front of a train."

    Thanks Sean and Hayes!

edit- I also wanna say, I for one think you did a great job at being funny Brett! If only you could apply that same level of skill into making the engineer sounds...

  4. At first when I listened to the ep I was thinking, "Man, Andrew is always so nice and funny!" But when he started doing his "Neil Campbell" character, I was just blown away! Those Brits are miles ahead! No wonder the boys were so randy.

I'm at the spot for the live HH, but I'm not seeing anyone. Maybe I'm early cause of time zones?

Anyway, thanks DefinitelyNotO.J.Simpson for PM-ing me the directions and agreeing to drive me home after, but please get here soon because it's getting a little spooky under this bridge and my phone is running out of battery.

  5. We're all allowed to speak and we're all allowed to judge. I don't see any reason why we need to fight with each other. Does anyone really care what anyone else here thinks politically in a way that would make a debate meaningful? If we're not really invested in a relationship with each other, why would we bother to engage in conflict? We gain nothing. And if we are, wouldn't it be more productive to try to bridge gaps and look past our differences? If all someone wants is to have their views heard, it's easy enough to do without addressing anyone in particular.

I enjoyed this episode, and I thought it was funny. I enjoy hearing Matt talk about something hes worked up about. Whether or not I agree doesn't come into play for me. Stephanie and Mookie were exceptional. I wonder though, if there was a third guest who couldn't make it.
