EPISODE 110 — The Island of Dr. Moreau
Bumpy replied to JulyDiaz's topic in How Did This Get Made?
June's high. 'Too small...' High as a kite. Still, happy to have her back. -
EPISODE 350 — Helmets, Aqueduct, Crucifixion, and Boobs
Bumpy replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
A fun episode and I loved Byron Denniston returning but it really just makes me more eager for this month's Dead Authors podcast. -
Episode 25 - Nick Kroll: Down and Dirty with Dr. Doug

I'll need a little more information to help. First, are you circumcised? Also, do you... -

EPISODE 6 - Dracula's Bedroom
Bumpy replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
I tried to not imagine Tim being played by Hotdog. Tried and failed. -
The first time Hanford did John Lennon a commenter brought up the idea that it was meant to be Ringo pretending (badly) to be Lennon and either Scott didn't pick up on it or he just refused to play along to toy with Hanford. After this second appearance I am totally convinced this is the case.

There's so much to explore on many future episodes!

So Gina Gershon's not really doing much with her face at the end of the movie. Might have been a nice upgrade for Joan Allen. Maybe soften the horror of an abduction by an emotionally disturbed family for a little kid.

EPISODE 24 — Nick Thune: Ideas with Glenn Michaels
Bumpy replied to JulyDiaz's topic in With Special Guest Lauren Lapkus
I'm glad I powered through the awkward bit at the very beginning because when they found their hook this became great. -
If they do another IMDB keyword list they really need to get Bob Ducca on the show.
-
I regret to say I'll miss the upcoming live show as I will be watching the SNL rerun that evening.

I loved the slowly fading 'running' going on way too long. Matt Gourley is a fine addition to any character's mythos. "I'm the gingerbread..., man."
-
Oh, that's right. For some reason I misremembered it as being about Paltrow.

Yeesh. Get a load of Hanoi Gwen over here. There's clearly more than enough offputting content to go around on this episode and that's what's really important. Content. Artists making minutes and minutes of content. Besides, if anyone 'ruined' the episode it was engineer-cody Cody. That guy's a menace.

EPISODE 4 - Savannah, Georgia
Bumpy replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
I would've said Hector Elizondo to his Garry Marshall. -
EPISODE 4 - Savannah, Georgia

Sorry! I'll go back and fix it. -
EPISODE 4 - Savannah, Georgia

Funniest podcast in the entire Pea Nutbutter dimension. -
Cameron Poe: Poe Dameron: Think about it, won't you?

EPISODE 22 — Joe Wengert: The California Supreme WinShow
Bumpy replied to JulyDiaz's topic in With Special Guest Lauren Lapkus
I had to take off my face windows to dry my eyes. They did a great job constantly running up to the line of moronic nonsense and then slowly stepping back. What I wouldn't give to hear Aaron and Darren try to sell Victor and Tiny some windows. -
paul is going to be in army of one with nic cage!!!!!!
Bumpy replied to firsttimecallerlongtimelistenr's topic in How Did This Get Made?
Will this lead to a spin-off podcast called 'How Did I Make This?' -
EPISODE 3 - A Secret Society
Bumpy replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
I hope some of PFT's ad characters get promoted to actual characters. I would definoitely like to hear the Underwear sprite meet Ho-Ho. Pam the terrible mom was also wonderful. Also, to the Earwolf staff, thank you for updating Craig Cackowski's picture! He's a treasure and deserves better than looking like a gassy Paul Reiser having an allergic reaction. -
I loved hearing Scott's attempt to fluster Victor with questions about Dune get shut down immediately. "How long would this story be if we stopped interrupting?" "... thirteen minutes."
-
That's a really good point, June.

Boy oh boy, PFT podcast blitz this week. I think calling someone 'a mental' is an expression in England, so maybe chalk that one up to failed localization. As a Mainer, two points: It's possible Kelly was going for the charcters to be stereotypical laconic downeasters but a directing fumble had them acting emotionless. Second, while there are many black bears in the state, brown bears- like the one in the movie- are nowhere to be found. Seriously though, no June two weeks from now and someone gets hurt. Me. In the feelings.
