Episode 69 — Betsy Sodaro, Our Close Friend
alargebucket replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Hollywood Handbook
I have a strong urge to satire this guy's drive-by style of satire hatred, but maybe that's just the 15 year-old me still trying to be understood. I can see why he maybe liked the episode, though. Betsy did continue to honor her long-standing No Satire policy. She's a real straight shooter.- 570 replies

I actually think they're closer in value than you're suggesting. Greggy's not afraid to splurge on himself, for sure, but he's frugal and discerning when spending on others. Likes with the highest exchange rate are obviously Andrew, Hayes, Sean, Andy, Bruce (sometimes), Showshow, OcterDoctopus, Freja. That's a mix of inherent value and total supply, not stinginess alone. Some of us are the Vietnamese dong of Earwolf currency, though. Namely, me, Joe, Vigo, honlads, Valerie, Chanson (sometimes), B-Drizzle. We have so much love to give.- 570 replies

Be Cool, man. You may have the Eyes of an Angel, but I think you're running a Saturday Night Fever. It wasn't all Pulp Fiction. I just needed a little Grease to get the engine running, a little Hairspray to make things stick, you know. I'd take my names, like Boris and Natasha or Kirstie or Michael or Our Friend Martin, and that of The Forger and have them Face/Off. It was Battlefield Earth and whichever was funnier was Staying Alive. For the other, let's just say it was Killing Season. It was Perfect. Sometimes it was a Blow Out, sometimes they were Two of a Kind. I had to be The Punisher in the end, though. Cause In a Valley of Violence, The Rookies can take out Old Dogs. But sometimes it was best to mix those Lonely Hearts like Primary Colors and make a new Phenomenon. I'm not into Savages... Moment by Moment, that's even how I made yours, Urban Cowboy. So Look Who's Talking, Look Who's Talking Too and Look Who's Talking Now. But, hey, if you think I'm Basic and you're one of The Experts, I guess that's just this White Man's Burden. From Paris With Love, The General's Daughter Sorry... Gotta Bolt. -

Is anyone else sort of scared that this thread crossed 400 posts? This seemed like a slow week. I say scared here 'cause I'm thinking there are ghost users making ghost posts. Lordy! Are Sean and Hayes ghost hosts? -

I see your very good t-shirt idea and raise you the following: Much like a tuxedo, this t-shirt is extra long in the back, covering your bum like a pajama shirt. And on the bum, right there where the good lord split ya, is a big ol' blow up of the peach emoji. Just so everybody checking you out with their nasty peepers knows Kim K doesn't have the copyright on juicy booty. Game-set-snatch, dirty boy! Also, perhaps, "MAKE YOU WANNA TAKE A BIG BITE" on the back as well. Don't want the nasty peepers folks thinking you're some prude. Gotta show your wild side in addition to your wild backside. -

1) Birdy! Why you so dirty, girl? You never let me give you a bath anymore. It wasn't my fault Timmy got sucked down the drain and we never saw him again. You knew he was small. You knew it was a risk. C'mon. What's daddy gotta do to get you back in the tub? I'll let you bring your rubber duckysoyucky. 2) l saw you in a Bangarang improv show on my birthday late last year. You were my lady in red. I had to leave early to make it across town to see another show at UCB Sunset. I tried not to cross the stage, but there was a woman blocking the other exit with her wheelchair. I tried to duck down when I did it, but those UCB seats are so uncomfortable and my lower back wasn't having it. We made eye contact. It all happened in slow motion. Will you ever forgive me? Also where do you get your ideas? -

Started listening to podcasts again in early 2014 after being abused and abandoned by MATES and the Tompkast. Started listening to Comedy Bang! Bang! despite not being a fan of the TV show. Can't remember why, exactly. Realized all these comedians and actors I admired--(Adam Scott, Pally, Andy Daly, Zouks, Paul F., Ben Schwartz, Lapkus, Peretti) had this outlet I was completely ignorant of. Started searching for every Ben Schwartz and Adam Scott podcast appearance I could find after running out of i4h and CBB episodes. Saw Hollywood Handbook, saw that Grace Helbig had an episode. Listened to it, loved the tone. Exactly my type of humor. Listened to all of them over the course of the weekend before the Engineers episode. The rest is herstory. Wish I had been around and aware during the RSS era. Mmm. Yes. Likes per post. Classic stat. I definitely do not look at that and live and die by it and it definitely does not affect my mood. -
You're doing exactly the right thing if you want the Pro Version. Not a sarcastic non answer. You will likely get it within the next few weeks--especially with a name like that. The Boys are on a new user kick. (P.S. The Pro Version is only as real as you make it.) The Popcorn Gallery is in limbo currently. Sean (Clem Dawg) or Hayes (Hayzie Bone) or a lowly Engineer will usually post a prompt on the weekends in the most recent thread. Keep your diapers peeled.

What really grinding my gears, you guys, is how Big Pharma use their limitless coffers to get Lil Jon and all his friends to push their radical medical agenda on mainstream radio. Kids used to be just so afraid to bend ova and make their knees touch their elbows to get shots shots shots shots shots shots, but now they're all like turn down these vaccinations for what? I'm real crying right now, but you can't tell 'cause of my sunglasses, which I assure you are not prescription like Lil Jon's. -
