Since HDTGM has done a TV movie with Liz and Dick, why not do another with the always popular Al Pacino? Jokes have been made about Pacino and his use of wigs before, but this movie looks like it will take the cake. It comes out next month and if the trailer is any indication, this will be insane.

Is it just me, or does HBO call pacino anytime they need to make a biopic about some creepy old fuck? It's definitely something to think about.

This really needs to be done just for that fact that it bombed in the TV ratings even with a high caliber cast and that it has an opening disclaimer that says it is not based on a true story even though it's depicting the life and trial of Phil Spector.

I watched it with high hopes of buffoonery but it was instead an incredibly dull slog featuring a mostly reserved Pacino.
