See, movies like this are so deliberately and knowingly awful that I don't think they'd work that well. Syfy knows exactly what it's doing when it makes shit like this. Contrast this with Birdemic, which is equally poor but so damn earnest. That's what makes it fun to mock.

You maybe right, I just watched Birdemic and listened to the show that goes along with it from HDTGM, I have to dare say it that the worse the movie is to some point the better the show. but after thinking about this your right. in that birdemeic was unknownly made bad with good intentions yet Dinocroc vs. Supergator was knowingly made bad with no care. so your saying it's on the level of In The Name of The King don't give a crap, going to make a crappy movie no matter what. not even going to try level of badness. Is that a correct assumption.

More or less, yeah. I found that Name of the King episode kind of dire to listen to. It's like that new one Syfy did, Chupacabras vs the Alamo...it's not like they thought they were making a good movie.

I really enjoyed Birdemic and I hope HDTGM does Birdemic 2 as a show. because that was the best show I've listen to so far. next to superman 2-3, crank2, roadhouse, Tiptoes. are about as good as it gets. I've only seen Dinocroc vs. Supergator on the soup so I have no idea if it's anygood. ooops my bad for recommending a movie I have not really seen.

 

Birdemic 2: The Resurrection, don't know if they will recreate the magic because it feels more like porn with out sex then a low budget film.
