wakefresh 689 Posted May 25, 2013 *Seven wonders, and the most popular version of that list was written two centuries before the Roman Pantheon was built. You could also be talking about the Parthenon, but that wasn't mentioned either. You couldn't have learned this from your daily talks to Boston racists, Hyde. Wouldn't they be much more vocal about how Ireland saved European knowledge? Share this post Link to post
wakefresh 689 Posted May 25, 2013 Not ancient, medieval. And if you went to college as you claim to then you should know something of source criticism and historiography. But because you're so fond of the idea of a pre-modern, trans-Atlantic West African trade empire it's obvious that knowledge of same is being actively suppressed by such bastions of white supremacist thought as collegiate anthropology departments. The stories themselves are very old and were first written down in the middle ages. That's not a big turning point at all, Hyde. And does not negate any questions about its veracity at all. Political intrigue and legends were very popular during the middle ages. Share this post Link to post

LOL, yeah, because there is absolutely no history of racial bias in the anthropology department. Absolutely none. By the way, Hyde, can I measure your skull? Share this post Link to post
seanotron 2307 Posted May 26, 2013 One of my favorite quotes on this subject was by Gene Roddenberry - "No, ancient astronauts did not build the pyramids; human beings built them, because they're clever and they work hard." 1 Share this post Link to post
