Real-life Analyze Phish Situation

Okay guys, I recently had a real-life Analyze Phish encounter. I'm a comic in Cleveland, and another comic and I were talking backstage at a show, and he mentioned Phish for some reason. I really hate Phish. He apparently loves Phish, or as he refers to them, "the boys," and immediately became bound and determined to get me on his side. Of course, I asked him if he had listened to Analyze Phish... he'd never heard of it! I am 100% keen on playing the Scott Aukerman to his Harris Wittels in this situation, so we're going to an upcoming Phish concert in an attempt to get me to understand what it is about Phish that makes them "awesome." I will be dropping a bean, don't worry.
