SlidePocket 707 Posted August 4, 2013 Dennis Quaid and Sharon Stone star in this non-suspenseful thriller from 2003 about a family who moves over to a new house where they are being stalked by a man who previously lived there and seeks out to kill them. Also stars Stephen Dorff, Juliette Lewis, Christopher Plummer and a young Kristen Stewart as their daughter. Â This film is so silly and not that frightening, that I just didn't care about what was going on due to what motive Dorff's character has against Quaid and Stone living in his old home, and some of the acting was pretty awful. This was surprisingly helmed by Mike Figgis, who went from amazing stuff like "Internal Affairs" (Richard Gere/Andy Garcia) and "Leaving Las Vegas" (Nicolas Cage/Elisabeth Shue) to snooze-worthy titles like "One Night Stand" (Wesley Snipes) and eventually this, where after that he basically did pretty much nothing.
