Just kinda reminded me of this:

 

 

What I like about that scene is just how much you can tell they care about each other, the way they stood by with a bunch of guns while the mosquitoes just slowly killed that guy. You can tell how conflicted they are on the inside, to either use his death as a distraction and save themselves, or to actually step in and risk their lives to help, and how they decided on the compromise of just standing there blandly yelling.
