mpfitzy85 0 Posted August 3, 2014 Â Caught this movie tonight. A decent premise which gets totally muddled in the execution. Susan Sarandon plays an emotionally damaged, alcoholic detective in a sleepy Canadian town dealing with a serial killer. Plenty of cop movie cliches like the frustrated boss cop, and a partner who likes to play things by the book. Also there's Topher Grace. A lot of the fun in this one is in the weird non sensical details. Like actual cops finding a body and just not calling it in, or the cops having to travel a great distance to find someone who can translate Latin. The movie knows where it wants to go, but it's super lazy and sloppy in getting there. Share this post Link to post
