AllenKerr 0 Posted June 15, 2015 Nicolas Cage John Woo Every character is a stereotype. Every explosion include a fast cut to the same explosion from another angle. I think this might win for the least crazy Nicolas Cage. I would be interested to hear other contenders. I went in knowing the dialog was bad but even the action was terrible. This is the only movie I have actually walked out of after the first bombing scene. If you decide to do this movie on the podcast I vow to go back and suffer through the rest of it. Â I still don't understand how this movie came to pass. Share this post Link to post
SlidePocket 707 Posted September 7, 2015 This flick marked the beginning of the end of John Woo's American career as after this one bombed hard in theaters ($77 million against its $115 million budget) and the disappointment of Paycheck the following year, Woo has since gone back to Hong Kong and never did another Hollywood project again. 1 Share this post Link to post
