CaseyLincoln 1 Posted March 25, 2016 There isn't, but i think they need to build a base of varying films before doubling up on a director. If this was episode 450 and there weren't two from the same director, I'd be upset that Tarantino only has one. If the Canon spans the entirety of cinema, this show is still very much in its infancy, so I wouldn't worry. Share this post Link to post
ManishMathur 33 Posted March 25, 2016 Agreed about doubling up. I just read a lot of comments saying X film shouldn't be voted in because it's not a director's best work. I don't think that's a fair argument at all, so I wanted to clarify 1 Share this post Link to post
Muthsarah 124 Posted March 26, 2016 And De Palma. Although one of his didn't get in. Â Spielberg has THREE episodes with at least one of his movies up. - Temple of Doom, Jurassic Park v King Kong, and E.T. v Close Encounters. And Jurassic Park got a second try, and got in. In a manner most foul. 1 Share this post Link to post
JonHillman 40 Posted March 28, 2016 Scorsese also has two in: Goodfellas and The Last Temptation of Christ. Share this post Link to post
gene_shallot 79 Posted April 4, 2016 There sure isn't, and I thought it was kind of weird that one guest (edit: Michael Lerman) seemed to think there was. Share this post Link to post
