SiSquires-Kasten 37 Posted April 13, 2016 Maybe my favorite all-time movie. An incredibly beautiful portrait of New York that arguably created the modern conception of independent film. I also think that its portrayal of the confused, earnest way that children deal with death -- a concept that the adult world is loathe to explain -- has resonance for both understanding Baby Boomers, and children of all generations. Cronopio 127 Posted April 26, 2016 Amazing film, and more influential than it gets credit for: Truffaut, Cassavetes - you can see its fingerprints on their work. Share this post Link to post
