Jon Onyx 1226 Posted July 14, 2016 I'm a little unnerved by MTV - not that it affects me personally, in brief, I think this: punk rock was ruined by effective marketing, just like the season 1 episode 2 of Dilbert: the 'cool' aspects of it were abstracted while the rebellion was toned down - we are left with a heat-killed, benign revolution to the status quo, rather than an outlet to express rage about brutality and the loneliness of the human condition.
