RyanSz 3140 Posted October 15, 2016 Basically if Axe Cop was made by some of the people involved in the Crank Movies and directed by a member of Slipknot, Officer Downe would be great for the podcast. Based on a batshit crazy comic and starring Kim Coates in what might be the best comic book casting since Ron Perlman as Hellboy, I can't wait to see this. Share this post Link to post

RyanSz 3140 Posted October 15, 2016 I think if anything it's a satire of over the top action movies, especially ones like Robocop. Downe in the comic basically goes all in to stop bad guys, and usually dies by the end of each of his missions but gets resurrected by his superiors, to what extent he remembers what happens depends on the situation if I remember right. It features a good few of the regulars from the Crank series including Mark Neveldine, there are mobsters who are part animal, and a kung fu gangster who talks in subtitles and is also dubbed.
