"This may be the worst movie Pauly Shore has ever been in. Think about that. If you dare, go on Netflix and test the hypothesis." - A.O. Scott, NYTimes

Sorry Mr. Swardson.

I have to second Bucky Larson. In fact, I signed up for the Earwolf forums just to recommend this movie to the gang. Not only is it NOT funny, this movie functions as an anti-comedy, designed to remove laughter from the world. Plus, they steal the "add random farts" tactic from Old Dogs in one scene.

AgentOrange: Off the top of my head, "Ballistic: Ecks Vs. Sever" got a 0. There's also "One Missed Call," "Baby Geniuses 2" and "Strange Wilderness."

I think this movie pretty much needs to be done at this point just based on the reviews I have read. 0% on RottenTomatoes is no easy feat. Even worse is that the audience rating is only 34%.

Everyone hates this move.

I really feel bad for Nick Swardson and Kevin Nealon although I don't think it will be much of a blow for the latter. I don't understand how Happy Madison prods. stays in business. Next up is Jack and Jill which seems to also be headed for a very low RT score...

From the Hollywood Prospectus blog:
-----------------------------------------------
Who else might get nominated? I think Bucky Larson has a legitimate shot at nine Razzie nods. Worst Picture, Worst Director (Tom Brady [not that Tom Brady (despite what his IMDb video page suggests)]), Worst Screenplay, of course. Worst Actor for star Nick Swardson seems like a lock. Christina Ricci is actually the best thing in this movie, but she’ll be nominated nonetheless. Don Johnson should get a nod for Supporting Actor, and Kevin Nealon is both awful enough and just famous enough to land one, too. Worst Screen Couple, sure. I even think this movie could be a dark horse in Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-off or Sequel, if voters realize it’s a rip-off of Boogie Nights.

I am still pushing for this one. According to Box Office Mojo it is currently pulling in a whopping $33 per screen. Which at an average ticket price of $7 translates to about 4 - 5 people a day per screen. Assuming 4 - 5 screenings a day, then we're talking about one lonely person sitting through this sack of shit per screening. I really want the HDTGM to partake in that scene...

It's achieved the infamous 0% on Rotten Tomatoes, and by all of the previews, it is time for this work of art to be dissected. I don't want to pay to see this, but will in a heartbeat for a HDTGM breakdown.

I bet this one will eventually happen, but there probably needs to be a bit more time passed before Nick can do interviews trashing his own project, for various reasons.

I'd love to hear this one happen. Especially if they talk about Swardson's bitter insistence that the critics who gave it a 0% RT rating wanted to hate it, and how you can't compare it to "Avatar" or "The King's Speech." As Richard Roeper put it on his Twitter, "Dude, you didn't even screen it for us."

Get Nick Swardson in to explain what the fuck he was thinking when making this horrific piece of shit. This is the worst movie ever made made...within the first 15 minutes.

This is one of the most rediculous movies I've ever seen. 0% on Rotten Tomatoes. Lost mega money.

Its bad... but its good bad. Never gets dull... just gets intriguing how bad it is.

Now, Paul, you mentioned a "glaring" omission may be there because your friend (guessing Swardson) doesn't know that you guys think their movie (guessing Bucky Larson) is bad.

...Well I read some quotes from Swardson wherein he basically defends the movie. In my opinion he was in denial or (more likely) wanted to help the movie get a second chance to make money on the video release. I mean when almost every single critic alive agrees, its hard to call them stupid without looking silly.

I am a big fan of Swardson, as are many of your fans, I would guess. I think the movie has redeeming quality, but it would OBVIOUSLY be one of the best HDTGM episodes if you guys manned up, convinced him to come on, and had a fun conversation about the movie. Its clearly a perfect fit and if Nick listens to your show he must know that deep down.

We all want to be validated for our hard work, but when you take risks (creepy bucktooth pornstar lead) your project might fail. At that point, the best thing to do as a comedic artist is address the elephant in the room and embrace how the world percieves your movie. Also, I have to believe that on some level the movie was supposed to be good bad.

Anyway, DO BUCKY LARSON is my point.

I don't know why no one has suggested this movie yet but trust me when I say it needs to be given the HDTGM treatment.

I have not seen this movie but I had a friend who seen this and when I asked her how it was she just looked me dead in the eyes and said "no" No other words just "no"

I hope you guys do this soon if not then I will be very angry lol.

The though of giving money to the makers of this movie, even a rental fee, depresses me too much...and isn't the reason for it being made that Adam Sandler wants your money?

Totally agree, but isn't the reason anyone makes a movie is to get our money?

Even Pluto Nash made money off of some of us.

That is a fair point, let me clarify my stance: surely there is an unstated contract that says I want your money.. for which i will provide you worthy entertainment.

Fail to provide the entertainment and the process becomes: Give me your money.. just because.

AHHH,

So before considering bad movie suggestions i should first ask myself, was this at least an attempt to make a movie or does it have a sinister motive.

i wish there was a set of rules to consider before making a recomendation (other than no repeating/spamming)

Guys...listen...

This is a brilliantly bad movie.

0% on Rotten Tomatoes.

It is endlessly entertaining yet very...very bad.

I know that you guys likely haven't covered this movie because you don't want to hurt Nick's feelings nor burn a bridge with Sandler...but you MUST do this movie.

Please show that you have more artistic integrity than the movies you pan and talk about this movie.

There's no need to be a hater, but by covering this gloriously aweful film you may get it some more attention and more sales.

I'm telling you, this movie is fun to watch, yet full of cringe-worthy moments. It is perfect for your podcast and I believe that you guys know it.

I would hope that you could get some of the cast or crew on the episode to show that you mean them no harm...but whatever the circumstance - you simply MUST cover this film. It was made for How Did This Get Made?

I'm sure there is some nerdy youtube reviewer out there tearing this film apart..but you guys are the real deal. YOU are the quintessential bad movie reviewers. I want to hear YOUR take. Please rise to the occasion and review this bomb. Your fans will love you for it and you will only become better, more popular, and more powerful in the podcasting/reviewing/comedy world. Don't be afraid to do this!

I'm going to watch this movie for a second time now. Thankyou.

If Adam Sandler or Nick Swardson can seriously look at this and think it's in any way decent, then they deserve all the mockery they can get.
