Step Up 3D or Step Up 2: The Streets

Step Up 3D is so bad it's good. I laughed a lot during this.
Step Up 2 is so bad that it's racist. It basically has you rooting for the preppy white kids who form their own crew after the crew of black "street dancers" (said in the same manner as an epithet) prove to be exclusionary, racist and ultimately violent. They eventually manage to successfully co-opt black culture to the point where they beat the "street dancers" at their own game. Cue the pretty, white, female protagonist giving an impassioned speech about tolerance.

SERIOUSLY how did these movies get made!? Movies like this and Fighting and Never Back Down and Footloose.. who is watching these movies?
