Very excited about this. This movie absolutely still holds up and the effect it had on the culture is profound. It's a philosophical and psychological textbook disguised as a fantastic sci fi action story, but throwing in readings about global warming, AI, feminism, and trans rights makes it relevant still to this day. Is there a question about whether this is Canon worthy? Feels like a shoo-in.

Good lord, this movie is great. I saw it four times in the theater because there was nothing else to do in Fairbanks, Alaska in 1999.
