CMB had a huge week with the double episode taking the 2nd place spot and moving only 20 points behind Peanuts!! We've got a tight race coming into the last 3 weeks here !

 

In a stunning display of being useless at this game in only a way JP can, he finished out his survivor career with 0 confessionals in his vote out episode and -12 points after his #epicblindside. His season total of 19 points was almost eclipsed by Roark, who was voted out 5 episodes ago.

I like to imagine that JP is the victim of mistaken identity and the guy that was supposed be on Survivor (lets call him PJ) is still sitting on a beach somewhere wondering when Jeff Probst is going to show up.

I think overall the season has been good! Pre-merge was a little on the boring side but I think everything post-merge has been very entertaining and the last 2-3 episodes in particular have been super great!

 

Also, someone pointed this out to me and now any time I hear Dr. Mike speak, all I can think about is this

We all love Survivor and it's crazy idols and plot twists and advantages right ? Otherwise the guy that they want to win doesn't win ! We love it. So, in the spirit of this season, I propose a last minute twist to the league, to really shake things up.

 

Here's the twist that you did not see coming ....... Points are actually bad and paint a target on your back ! The only way to win the league is to have the least number of points.

 

Fingers crossed Joe goes for this and isn't too mad that his winner pick got shafted.

Congratulations to our new sole survivor, CHARLIE MURPHY BROWN! Went from a 5th place finish last season all the way to the top this year! A valiant effort in the end by myself and Peanuts to try and take CMB out after taking the lead two weeks ago but that was a tight race in the end and a great way to end the season! If I only stuck with my gut and picked Joe as the villain instead of Patrick, I would have had this thing all tied up!! Gotta give it up to Ben,Chrissy and Ryan for totally carrying my team.

 

Props to Jo for finishing in last place two seasons in a row! Probst would be proud!

 

Thanks everybody for another fun season! Doing this always adds such a fun layer to already my favorite show! See yall Februrary 28th for Ghost Island!
