This is an entirely awful film that was controversial because Chloë Sevigny actually (unsimulated) sucked off Vincent Gallo on camera. Roger Ebert also said it was the worst film in the history of the Cannes Film Festival.

Didn't Gallo also challenge Ebert to a fight or something? I remember the events surrounding the film sounding a lot more interesting than the film itself.

Gallo placed a hex on his colon. Ebert responded by saying that he had watched footage of his colonoscopy, and it was more interesting than "The Brown Bunny."

 

(Of course, Ebert later admitted that the edited version is a better film, but from the sound of it that's not saying much.)
