Welcome to another episode of Comedy Bang Bang! and it will truly be a memorable one. Now normally, I would start off with one of our wonderful submitted catchphrases, though I think I’ve finally come to terms with the fact that nothing will ever quite top the classic original, “What’s up Hot Dog.” Today though, we’re jumping straight into things as I have a big announcement to make which is that this will be the final Comedy Bang Bang podcast. There, it’s out, I said it. Like the characters in the movie the Dark Knight, I’ve kept this one close to the chest for awhile and have only shared it with a select few, which is evident by the shocked looks of those here with me now. So you might be asking yourself, “Why Scott, why after all these years, after all these hundreds of podcasts, why now?” Well first, I would say why are you asking yourself that, that should really be a question directed at me. But then I’d have to say that it’s just the right time for me. I still love doing this as much as ever, but you reach a certain point in life where it’s time to turn a page. When I started doing this show, I was just a young man looking to sling some tent and never dreamed that I’d end up a young man that created a podcasting empire. With the exception of my ex-girlfriend, Kulap, there is nothing I’ve loved more than getting to do this podcast and the TV show through the years and I’ll forever be grateful to all the amazing and interesting people who have come rapping at our chamber door. From debuting classic characters to creating classic catchphrases, “Heynong Man,” it’s been a dream come true to watch a small podcast where we talk to interesting people grow into America’s podcast and eventually into Humanity’s podcast. Now, I don’t want to take up too much time at the top of the show with this because we have some very interesting guests to get to for our last show, but I just want to thank everyone who has supported us through the years, from those on the microphone to all those behind it, but most importantly to all those of you who have taken the time out of your own lives to listen to us. Whether you listened to just one episode or all 700 plus. Whether you loved the show or hate-listened, from the bottom of my heart, Thank You!
