Episode 74 — Kumail Nanjiani, Our Close Friend

Ku sounded like M.I.A. when she sang "Gu Cruise for life". Also, Howard should do shot-for-shots of random Letterman episodes. Letterman was so inimitable, but it would be a hilarious tribute to see.

This sent shockwaves from my mandible region straight down my spine. http://cdn2.bigcommerce.com/server2900/796bb/products/20707/images/20494/Jum-Blo-2.5oz-Assorted-Gum-Balls-24ct__24343.1410712621.500.659.JPG?c=2 -
EPISODE 235 — Vision Impaired, Still Prepared
dischargingfoul replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Who Charted?
This was a very energetic episode, or maybe it just felt that way because Howard was so discombobulated last time. Netflix-related questions should just be grandfathered in to the guest's chart every week as just a bonus/ #6. -
EPISODE 233.5 — 5/22/15 TWO CHARTED 172

just picturing howard kicking the air in frustration, but in a REALLY disciplined, premeditated kung fu style, complete with Kiai when he stubbed his toe. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kiai -
The twist at the end was amazing, especially the "long con" aspect of it. I started listening to this a little over a year ago & I've probably heard over a hundred episodes, but not many from the first 2 years when it was Comedy Death Ray. It does, however, seem like they were still heavily improvised back then. That's probably what makes this ep seem so brilliant to me, but even if this was as scripted as a TV sitcom, it still was ridiculously smart & funny. I suppose I should watch Terri.

the drinktangle could be any of these things, but during the episode, i was picturing the 4th pic. https://www.google.com/search?q=movie+theater+drink+carrier&espv=2&biw=1600&bih=799&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=P6pXVbGLIYHgsQX16oCIBw&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ -
EPISODE 232.5 — 5/14/15 TWO CHARTED 171
dischargingfoul replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Who Charted?
The pod-turned-TV show could be an Eagleheart-esque dark comedy. To keep Kulap in California to attend Summah Summit, Howard realizes he must find a way to cancel the wedding, so he starts working with a private investigator to dig up dirt on the relationship of the would-be bride & groom. Instead of finding proof of infidelity or some other relationship pitfall, he discover's that Ku's sister is involved in what appears to be a mob-like crime ring that includes other friends & family. Does Howard approach Kulap about this? What if she's actually the ring leader & has him wacked? In the meantime, the podcast is suffering because there's an undeniable tension in the air, spurred by Howard's increasing paranoia, spurred by too much weed. Howard starts watching a lot of Columbo... .. . -
EPISODE 231.5 — 5/08/15 TWO CHARTED 170

My post was in response to Armen, who kept bemoaning the "fact" that he ruined the show & everyone who listens would hate him for it. -

If there really are people out there who'd listen to this & get mad at Armen, they're not true WhoCh fans to begin with, and they can go kick rocks and pound sand. -

I listen to episodes at random, so way late on this, but I can't believe Scott didn't say the vagina gets 1 tooth pulled per screw to encourage fidelity. If your wife had 15 teeth left before your business trip, you take a mental note of that.

This episode raised some hard-hitting questions. When Scott was a boy & drawing Mr. T, was it in the nude? Also, why can't more Foley artists take wacky liberties with their gun-shot sounds? How many people have actually even heard a gun fired, like a hundred? Movies should have gun shots that sound like farts. #revolution

It seems like the female guests love to "compete" with the boys by pushing things to a blue area, & I love that. Some of the best CBB moments ever have come as a result of girls playing characters with dicks & makin tasteless sex jokes. Good stuff. Man, I used to laugh myself into serious pain during the Tom Green Show era. Sucks about his dogs.

as a haphazard listener of probably 120 episodes, it still tickles me to death to hear the Would You Rather song, knowing 1st-timers probably aren't aware of its girth.

EPISODE 227.5 — 4/10/15 TWO CHARTED 166
dischargingfoul replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Who Charted?
Kitty validated Howard's dogma & now he seems downright smitten. I wonder if he got her number or if he at least got her to agree to collab on a song. -
Did Kulap say, "undergrind"? I'm not sure I can put a visual with that term.

Died picturing Invisible Jay Leno hosting the show, with an unknowing Carrot Top introduced, brought out on stage, & essentially talking to a Leno who didn't even care enough to show up, like he's literally phoning it in... while Carrot Top is awkwardly the only person on camera, empty desk, audience feeling so awkward about it.

Episode 6 - Rock of Agee
dischargingfoul replied to JulyDiaz's topic in The Hooray Show with Horatio
Just wanted to say that I really liked Horatio's comment on Chappelle: "Chappelle is like, seeing like Spiderman walk into a house." & while I'm at it, thanks for that gawker link to the Eddie Murphy story.
